I've only used this twice since purchase and I am brand-new to waterless wash/wax, but this stuff works great. Super easy. Spray it on, wipe it off with one microfiber cloth, wipe the area down again with a dry microfiber cloth. I can do my whole car in 20-30 minutes and it looks great. I would recommend that if you have a lot of dirt you do a proper wash first. This product seems more designed for cleanings between washes. As far as the wax built into this spray, it's definitely there. After using this I drove on a rainy day and you could see the water bead up as you would after a wax. Seems like it held up for a couple of weeks or so. I have read that you can use this on glass, though I have never tried. I did use this on all metal/chrom/plastic parts of the car body, including the wheels, and it applied and wiped off with no residue. I'm impressed and will continue to use!

I tend to fall into the camp of car washing traditionalists who believe in a proper car wash, 2 bucket method, etc, etc. I've always been hesitant to use these sorts of products that claim they won't scratch your paint when there is dirt on your car. What sort of technology allows one to spray this on dirt, wipe it off, and somehow leave the paint underneath unscathed? Fast forward. It has snowed for 2 months. It is -10 degrees with a -20 to -30 degree windchill. But on the horizon is a 45 degree day. A perfect day to get off all this road salt and brown snow, I think. I'm antsy, and really don't like the idea of salt and road de-icing chemicals sitting on my paint. I head to the local car wash to give the old gal a wash. But oh no, the pre-soak isn't working. Ok, I'll just powerwash what dirt off I can and follow it up with the soft soap spray, and finish off with a finishing powerwash and spot free rinse. (I never use car wash brushes. Again, I'm anal about scratches.) I get home, inspect the job, preparing for my usual Wax as you Dry spray wax method. But I notice the car is still quite dirty. Those week of snow, ice, and filthy roads really did a number on my paint. And then I remember Meguiar's Ultimate Waterless Wash. This is the perfect opportunity to use it. Why not? Minor dirt on my car. This is what it's made for. It isn't until I begin spraying that I realize it isn't the bottle that is white, it is the liquid inside. It goes on thicker than most spray waxes you've probably used. It seems to immediately loosen dirt upon impact and wipes away cleanly, leaving no to minor streaks once it dries (I have a dark colored car, so it's find a product that is 100% streakless). My car looks good as new upon finishing. I'm impressed, and there are not obvious scratches. I'll have to wait until a sunny day to really inspect the paint. I'm at ease, knowing there is no more grime on my paint, and this product did as advertised. I like that it has wax built in as well for extra protection; it is not solely a wash. In a nutshell, this product does as claimed. I may have been converted from the camp that sees these products as blasphemy, for people who don't REALLY care about their paint. I used about 1/4 of a bottle on a full size truck. Not bad for a 10 dollar bottle. And I probably over-applied the product since I was very conscious about potential scratches. Better safe than sorry. That's still cheaper than going to the car wash and spending the 12+ dollars for a single wash. Again, this is to be used on cars with minor dirt, not a completely filthy car. This won't be a go-to product for me as long as proper car washes are available (I don't live in a water restricted state), but this is a great backup for emergency washes, for those who live in apartment complexes without access to a hose, or for those who want to save money on car washes.

I used this product today and 2 days ago. The first time it was very dirty. (more dirty than it should be when using this product) With that said it performed wonderful. It cleaned and left an awesome shine on my Super White car. I used more product than I normally would. It breaks down dirt and makes it safer to remove with the right microfiber and technique. I should have sprayed the heavy dirt from the bottom and back panels before, but this gave me insight I would have never attained. It worked on rather heavy dirt with zero scratches. You have to know how to use the microfiber. You can't just spray on and rub it around. You need to use a clean portion to wash the dirt off and dry towel to finish it to a shine. On a dusty car in a garage it is a perfect product. With light dust it's perfect. For those of us without garages and rain and snow we need to be more careful and pick when and what to use on our cars. This product is almost a must have for someone who wants to have a good looking ride at very little effort. Remember, use in the right circumstances and with the right towel, pressure, and amount of product sprayed. I would give this 5 stars but other products are better at cleaning off bug guts and bug crap.tree sap, and other bad stuff. This is great for a car that is relatively clean. Then is really shines. It takes (on a scale on 1-10) a car at a 7-8 to a 9-9.5. Overall excellent product. Recommended by many pros, and me. Edit: After 2 applications of this between washes I can say it really works well. People in dry climates with garages may be able to use this product alone for weeks of months between washes depending on how much you drive. My car is out on the weather. It has rained twice on the product I have applied. It's still very slick. Water beads well. It's easy to clean most stuff off with the slick coating this leaves. I highly recommend it. It's not harsh at all and cleans well and leaves a great coat of shine and protection (from what I have noticed) on Toyota Super White paint.

love this stuff, just what i wanted, but next time i would buy the 144oz waterless car wash and wax kit aircraft quality, it would be a better deal and is supposably the best on the market. now about meguiars, first i power washed my truck to get most of the dirt off and bird poop. then after drying on a perfectly cloudy day, i used this stuff to hand wash the entire truck and it was actually kind of fun. it works great, its easy to use, one microfiber cloth to apply, and one to wipe it dry. its like washing your windows really. except you wipe it down after applying it. but after applying it wait a few second or so to let it evaporate a little and then wipe it with a dry microfiber, and it works great. IF YOUR CAR IS DARK IN COLOR I WOULD WAIT UNTIL ITS CLOUDY OR FIRST THING IN THE MORNING, IT DOESNT WORK VERY WELL WHEN THE SURFACE IS HOT OR WARM OR IN THE SUN, IT WILL EVAPORATE VERY QUICKLY, SO IF YOU DO JUST DO SMALLER SPOTS AT A TIME AND WIPE IT OFF QUICKLY, IT WILL LEAVE STREAKS THAT WONT COME OFF AND YOU WILL HAVE TO REPEAT THE PROCESS, THIS IS NOT AN ISSUE IF THE SURFACE IS COOL, WHITE VEHICLES PROBABLY WOULDNT HAVE THIS PROBLEM BECAUSE THE SURFACE DOES NOT GET HOT IN THE SUN, BUT THE STREAKS WOULD PROBABLY BE HARDER TO SEE, BUT THATS OK BECUASE YOU CAN FEEL WHEN ITS SMOOTH. really love this stuff!!!! meguiar has a new customer for life!!! and im sure youre wondering how long this will last or will it do my entire truck, well guess what, it will, i have a dodge ram 1500 with a hard cover over the bed. i did the entire truck cover and all and only used the neck portion of the bottle. i measured from the bottom of the bottle to the start of the black screw on nosel. its 8 and 3/4 tall. i have 6'' left in the bottle. so they are right about being able to clean 3 or 4 vehicles, im going for 4 or more, because after using it the first time, im sure the next will be even better. i live in an apartment so this is exactly what i was looking for. my truck looks beautiful. THIS STUFF ALSO WORKS REALLY GOOD ON WINDOWS, I WILL PROBABLY KEEP BUYING IT JUST FOR THAT BECAUSE IT WORKS SO GOOD.

This stuff works great. I have used it for several years on anything from a new Chevrolet Corvette to a 22-year-old Ford F-150 truck. One bottle can do six or seven vehicles and each one takes only about 20 to 25 minutes. No more need for paste wax. Just use this stuff fairly often and your vehicle will always look awesome. Just be sure to use high-quality microfiber cloths. One for 'wax on' where you buff the liquid to a haze - and one for 'wax off' where you buff it dry until it shines like a diamond. Meguiar's has always made good products for cars.

Meguiar’s Ultimate Waterless Wash & Wax has been fantastic — this is my second bottle. It smells great, cleans really well, and I can finish my whole car in about 30–45 minutes using around a dozen microfiber towels.

Bottom line up front: It really works. Unless you've taken your car through the mud pits or park under the sappiest tree on the block, this will take your average road grime off with a quick spray and wipe. It's not going to compete with a professional detail (or even a really good, lengthy amateur wash) but it'll be clean. And it smells FANTASTIC. [Edit a few weeks later: I got two full washes done and the bottle isn't empty, but I just ordered a gallon jug size to make sure I don't run out. No complaints still.] Long story: I've been living in apartments/condos/townhouses for nearly a decade now. Having the car parked in a community lot that's nowhere near a hose meant that I either took my car to a car wash or (more often) I just let it get dirty and told myself "I'll get it washed soon." Or I'd run out in a rain storm to make use of the free soak and rinse. I noticed a neighbor in my new housing complex spraying his car with a little bottle and wiping it down every 10 days or so. His car was always clean looking. I thought to myself "What is this? Some sort of...waterless car wash?" So I googled exactly that and was genuinely surprised to find such a thing exists. And not only does it exist, but it actually does the job. I got a new-to-me car in May and hadn't washed it since. It got occasional rinses from heavy rains, but it had plenty of dirt/pollen/grime/etc. in the couple months I owned it. This spray easily cleaned it all. Just divide your car into easy-to-manage sections, spray that area, wipe it down with the "dirty" microfiber towel, then buff the clean surface with a separate "clean" towel, and then repeat the process on the rest of the car. It worked great for me on every surface except tires (and I didn't really go at the chrome exhaust tips much, either). Windows, paint, wheels, headlights, plastic trim bits...it all came clean with virtually no effort. I'm in love with this product. I imagine I'll get at least 3 full washes out of a single bottle, so it's cheaper than a professional wash OR a suspect big-brush automated wash at a gas station. And it cleans significantly better than the automated ones, to boot. And did I mention it smells FANTASTIC?!
