We had a Chinese voltage washing machine that we needed to power in the US. I purchased the 5000w converter knowing it was way over what was technically needed, but having dealt with a lot of power issues over the years it was better to have way more capacity than not enough. Keep in mind that a lot of devices seem to draw a "surge" of power when they start that's more than what's needed to keep them running.In any case this converter, while heavy, was easy to set-up and has been working like a champ. It's quiet, well built, and we haven't encountered any problems with powering the appliance. Highly recommended.

Bought one power converter and had to return it within two weeks of usage because it suddenly stopped working. I got a replacement unit and it worked well for a month until it stopped working as well. It’s not burnt nor showing any signal on what might have broken, and I just plugged one appliance at a time that it’s not even 2000W. Now a month has passed and I can’t return it anymore, so I have an useless heavy paperweight.[Updated] After reaching out to the seller, they sent me another unit (different from the two I had previously, probably this one has more power) and it's been working well since then. Leaving 4 stars now as the product works as advertised but had to go through all this to get one that works well.

I am in the philippines and it works all my power tools i brought from the states without any problems. Very good buy. Very happy i got it period even more happy about my tools with me.

This is an awesome and safe product. I use this at home to use a printer that I brought from the different country. It works perfectly.

So nowhere in the pics or descriptions do I see a mention of fuses, just circuit breaker protection. But the box contained what appear to be automotive fuses. Nowhere on the device do I see a place to insert one. So, there may be an internal fuse holder which would mean you would have to disassemble the case to replace the fuse. I hope that is not true. So I subtracted two stars because of this.Other than that, it worked fine powering my well pump from an 120v inverter. I ran it long enough to pump about 100 gallons. The previous transformer that I bought and returned would overheat after 30 seconds. This one held up fine.I'll update if anything happens to it long term. After seeing all the reviews mentioning the transformer breaking after a few months, I'm reserving final judgement.
