They work for me!
I'm barely a weekend warrior on drums being that I spend more time on bass and keys these days. Even when I was drumming every weekend these sticks never failed me. I usually end up trashing them before they ever actually snap or break. I'm a firm believer that proper hand grip and stick placement on the snare goes a long way. No need to overpay for major brands. Affordable. Light weight. Durable.

A very good value!
I thought I would try these because stick prices from the name brand vendors are way too high. I have been very happy with them! They are made of very hard wood. They are nice and straight and well balanced. Their finish is not as polished as the name brands, but my hands are very dry and a more tactile finish is actually helpful to me. I rarely break sticks, it's usually the tips that wear out, so it's yet to be proven how long they will last. But if the tips hold out well, I will definitely be buying more. They were a great value!

Very decent for the sale price - regular price, not sure.
I used Promark sticks (usually 747, 707, or 7A, depending on the circumstance) for many years - until they got so expensive that it led me to look for an alternative. That alternative ended up being Vater (typically 5A). In comparison, they were half the price, and quite frankly, held up a LOT better. Inasmuch, I've subsequently used Vater's for many MORE years. However, I'm now seeing the same issue there... they're getting too expensive. So, again, I started looking for an alternative. I recently spotted these on a Prime day - and when I saw they were made by Promark, and were on sale for $15, I thought I'd give them a shot. They arrived yesterday. Head to head against a Vater 5A Los Angeles, they are the same length, and just ever so slightly thinner in diameter. They DO have a more 'forward' feel - the shoulder is stockier closer to the bead. The bead is also a bit heavier. All in all, it's a slightly heavier feeling stick. The butt is round, and not sanded smooth (unlike the Vater; flat, smooth butt). These came packed in a single cardboard sleeve - not split into pairs. They advertise "consistent weight and pitch." While the weights feel pretty close across all six sticks, the pitches are not even close - there were 2 of the 6 that sonically matched (if you pay attention to that sort of thing - and I do). They ARE all straight. I have not gigged these yet, but will be doing that tonight. I play in a classic rock cover band. I'm not a basher; I don't saw thru sticks. I don't remember the last time I broke a stick - I actually usually wear the beads off (and that's when I grab a new pair). I just like a nice, comfortable, plain vanilla 5A sized stick - does pretty much anything I need it to. These are NOT as nice as the Vater's that I usually play - but for the sale price, they're worth trying (at the regular price, I'll likely stick with Vater). Bearing in mind that I typically wear the beads off of a stick, we'll see how they wear - if they're significantly better, I'll update this review accordingly.

Affordable and high quality drumsticks by ProMark -LA Specials Drumsticks made by Pro Mark
These high quality drumsticks are made by ProMark a leading manufacturer in professional line of drumsticks. These are made of Hickory, a dense wood that can take the “ beating” ( pun intended!). A three pack of sticks averages out to under $7.50 a pair! I play an acoustic kit and play a wide variety of music on a regular basis. No complaints, give these sticks a try!

I love these sticks! The vic firths i usually buy never last long at all. I was very skeptical because they are so cheap but last really long. Im not sure why they are priced so cheap

Inconsistent
I ordered 3 pairs of these sticks. 3, Maybe 4 out of the 6 sticks were solid and held up really well. The 3 bad ones cracked almost immediately. But one of the sticks was definitely not solid hickory, compared to the other ones weight wise it felt like It was hollow and I could easily bend and flex it. I gave 3 stars because the good quality ones held up a long time, also they feel front heavy and at first tired my hands out. Mainly heavy rock and punk. Since I only got 50% good quality I prolly won't buy again.

I highly recommend them.
Made well and hold up to hours of abuse during a 4 hour gig without breaking or separating the nylon tip. I highly recommend them.
