Mobil 1 112980 Synthetic Automatic Transmission Fluid - 1 Quart (Pack of 6)

My automatic trans was starting to jump during manual engagement and was also sluggish on the downshift. 200K Miles on factory fluid. Did a drain refill using this specific product as recommended by 540RAT. Car is shifting and running like it did brand new. worth every penny

On the other hand, Todd, the owner of the channel, also does some serious testing, like cold and hot flow rates on various leading brand synthetic oils, like this new Amazon Basics synthetic 5W-30 oil. This oil actually flowed better in cold and hot flow tests compared to Mobil 1 and it's lubricity, while not quite as good as Mobil 1 5W-30, was "almost" as good, but for it's MUCH lower price, seems like a better value for most users that do average driving.

Great fluid so far. I used it in my 2000 Nissan xterra. My suv was jerking after a delay when putting it in reverse, sometimes not moving into reverse at all. I took my xterra to a transmission shop and they could not find an issue with it, and said that it would not be any price difference to fix it in its current state or if the tranny actually goes out. I did some reading on some forums ans in short, found that it could be an issue with the fluid. I thought it was worth a try, and i wouldnt be out much money if it didnt remedy the problem. In short, the problem had almost completely disappeared. My vehicle has a plug in the tranny pan, but only about 1/2 of the fluid can be changed out at a time, so only about 4 qts when in. I am hoping to do it again in the spring to get even more old fluid mixture out. Overall, great product, i will definitely buy again.
