Why does you rice have bugs in it

The rice I received was very fresh and no bugs.

If this is product of Thailand, why does the website on the packaging mention only India?

We ordered this brand for the first and last time. We order bulk rice every 2 weeks so this wasn’t a new experience and a couple months back we had a bag with a handful of dead rice weavels scattered throughout- we dealt with it because we couldn’t afford to replace the bag at the time. However, in this bag there were so many bugs as soon as I opened the bag… alive. I just couldn’t salvage anything and was afraid they’d get into the flour and oatmeal, so I ran the bag straight to the trash.Amazon customer service was great and refunded me immediately. But I hope this company is more careful with its product in the future.
