Foot Rest for Under Desk at Work, Premium Ergonomic Footrest and Foot Stool for Desk, Excellent Leg Clearance & Firm Support

I'm a programmer and, until just recently, I worked remotely. Which means I spent 40 hours a week sitting at my desk in my office, and then a good chunk of the remaining hours in the same spot surfing, gaming, or sport coding. Well, after a stretch in the hospital due to multiple DVT's in my right leg, I figured I should make some changes. This was one of the first.My big concern was the firmness, which I'm happy to say is spot on. It feels good to rest your feet on, but it's solid enough that they don't sink into it and you can manipulate it with your feet. I mostly use mine with the flat side up; I like being able to rock it back and forth and reposition it with my feet. It probably won't get me off blood thinners, but I still think it was money well spent.I should mention that there was a very strong smell when I first unboxed it. Not particularly offensive to me, but a really heavy rubbery smell that wasn't helped by having to keep the door to my office shut. It did go away after a couple of days and, as I said, it really didn't bother me. But if you're sensitive to that kind of thing, do be aware.Also, the company contacted me a couple of weeks after I ordered it. They wanted to make sure it had arrived and asked if I had any comments or concerns regarding the product. I mentioned I was planning to pick up a second one for a new office job, and they sent me a 10% off coupon. Was the goal of all that to get me to write up a review? Probably. But it worked. I spent a lot of years in the service industry, and I really appreciate a proactive approach to customer care. And the coupon was a nice touch :).Overall, I'm very happy with the product and, aside from the initial smell, really don't have anything negative to say.And I'll be ordering my second one soon.

This is a superior, high quality under desk foot rest cushion. I researched a lot of these products and decided on the Office Ottoman not just because of the great reviews, but because it's only 4" tall. Many similar products are 6" and I think that's too high to allow enough under desk clearance for my knees, especially if you want to use a seat cushion in addition. The Office Ottoman is wide and long enough to ensure your feet will never touch the floor or come off of it until you want them to.You can use it with shoes, but I prefer socks or bare feet. It's firm but soft, with the perfect amount of give. It has a removable, washable cover, but if you don't use your shoes on it, you won't need to wash it very often. If you're concerned about washing at all, well, you never even have to take it out of the plastic it comes in.Note: There was no chemical smell when I took it out of the plastic. I can't think of a single negative thing to say about this product. It's perfect!

I purchased and received this product around 3 weeks ago and the reason I decided to purchase a product like this is due to my feet and ankles beginning to swell due to prolonged times at my PC.I noticed my feet were beginning to swell, and after some research, I've found out that it was due to poor circulation etc from long sit periods and how my chair and leg positioning can attribute to the issues mostly. So I decided to hop on Amazon and search up a "computer foot stool" or something similar and I ended up giving this product a try.Within 2 days, I would get up after several hours (not at once, I would obviously get up and move around, cook food, bathroom, house duties, etc during my gaming time and design work), and I could already tell my feet and legs felt better from the slight elevation that this product offers. Now I'm able to do more design work, gaming, etc from home without complications due to discomfort.If you're needing relief, this product really does help, but I only wish (and maybe they do offer it) that the product was a little higher off the floor, but either way, it works as intended and provides me with the comfort I needed as well as put my mind to ease as I was beginning to worry I had serious health issues with the swelling! It's great to see my feet and ankles back to normal size!Highly recommend if you're looking for an affordable solution to leg pains and discomfort from long computer durations. I'd also look into finding a better seating solution if youre chair is a culprit! Mine was and I swapped to a new chair as well.

I'm 5'4" and there are few desks at the correct height for me. I bought a new desk that was a few inches higher than my old one, requiring me to raise my chair so that my feet no longer could sit flat on the floor. This foot rest comfortably raises my feet up just enough so I can sit in a chair that is a little higher. I like the rounded foam shape - it is flexible and lets me adjust my feet to the angle I want. It also like how it is both easy to move (I fidget a lot and move my chair around) but also stays in place. Other foot rests I tried were very heavy and I needed to get on the floor to pick them up and move them. This one can just be moved with my feet to where I want it.

I received this product on Tuesday, September 4, 2018 and I've been using this for a week now. I am 5'1 tall and I have a glass desk and my keyboard slot attached to my desk isn't big enough to include my mouse so I have to have my chair up higher when I sit at my desk. After using this Foot Rest for a week the swelling in my ankles have been reduced to minimum because it has given my the support I need under my desk. Before I did not have support and would always get up from my desk with swelling in my calf's and ankles. I use this product in my house and I enclosed a picture so you can see my set up. I push it back towards the wall and have my feet at an angle when I use it.Final Comments: This is a very good product if you sit at a desk for long hours and need support support for your feet.
