had problems with cold starts
I put an aftermarket fuel pump in my 1993 Chevy S10 Blazer 4.3 V6 (Central Port Injection) after 2 months of use it would not start when engine was cold, after about 1/2 hour of trying it would finally start with a boost and ran great when started and also restarted with no problem when engine was warm. I never thought it was the fuel pump so I started replacing electronic components. after replacing every electronic component , Fuel Injector , Distributor, Lower intake gaskets , Battery , Starter, the problem never changed. This went on for 2 years and was the same summer or winter. I finally bought a new ACDelco FUEL PUMP and replaced the aftermarket pump and now it starts great when cold . I never thought the aftermarket fuel pump was the problem because it worked great when it was running. I WAS WRONG !!!. Just goes to show the quality of the ACDelco FUEL PUMP . My truck has more power, runs better and most important , starts when the engine is cold. The truck also has 400,000 miles on it and is still going strong, problem free thanks to the ACDelco Fuel Pump!

Great Fuel pump.
this is a awesome fuel pump and it outputs 60psi meaning it can run a vortec motor. i got this for my TBI 5.7L 95 Yukon. the original pump finally bit the shitter on me. and i have plans to swap in a 6.0 vortec in the future and didnt want to go with a older tbi pump so got this one. runs the truck great. yes its running a TBI TBI requires around 20psi of fuel pressure so this one makes it run great. some aftermarket parts are okay to use in some circumstances but a fuel pump go OE. none of that airtex crap or aftermarket junk. unless you enjoy dropping your tank every six months. i believe my old pump was the factory pump and sender and it survived 25 years before it died on me. thats damn impressive.

Ran for a week and died.
Wasn't very good and is a miserable job to replace, involves removing a gas tank and pumping out all the fuel. Ran for a week and the truck suddenly died in the yard, glad it didn't fail on the road. Bought another pump elsewhere and the truck has been running well.

Just what the mechanic ordered
I swapped vortec heads onto my 1995 GMC Sierra and needed more psi at the throttle body. I was told to use this pump even though it is designed for new models as it delivers more fuel but still plugs into the older unit. The pump went in easy and hasn’t given me any problems. Price was $50 cheaper than summit or jegs.

nope, no strainer
after reading a review about there being a strainer included in this one I order it, even when it went up in price between the 2 times I looked at it. got it, no strainer. but it fit and worked and was a lot quitter than the old one which scared me that it wasn't working but the truck started and, of course, it wasn't before.oddity...when I researched it before I bought it, it said that it WOULD fit my 1997 Silverado C2500 with a gas 5.7L v8. now it said it wont fit it. go fig. it went in fine and is working better than the old ever did.side note, replace your inline fuel filter (not just the strainer only) when your doing this too.

mechanic suggested strongly to buy orig brand vs a bosch fuel pump.
bought a bosch and this and gave mechanic doing job choice, the went with this one, but will it last as long as orig ?this is an in tank fuel pump and ONLY cost me $640 to have replaced !! it was a 75gallon tank almost full so had to use a fork lift to lower to get to top hole for pump, easy straight forward work IF you have a fork lift, could have done it myself if tank was empty OR had been able to pump out all that gas ! ;(

Expensive AF, but it's the "trusted" part.
Waaaay overpriced, but if you have an aftermarket pump fail it's the "trusted" part. With the price they're asking, if this fails then AC Delco's name means nothing any more. One year so far, but for the price if it doesn't last at nineteen more then it wasn't worth it.

Drops right in.
Great fuel pump I'm using in a 1988 K5 Blazer fuel tank to supply a LS engine.
