Absolutely LOVE it!!! The Victrola Empire 6 in 1, is perfect for my home library. If you are an audiophile this is not the unit for you. But if you are looking to spin some of that vintage vinyl or listen to your 1990’s cd collection or even your 1980’s cassette collection (from Columbia House🤣), this is the perfect unit. The sound is not bad, but I chose to hook up a pair of Edifer 1700r BT speakers for a more clear and rich sound. The pair together beautifully and I get that true stereo sound. And the vintage look is the jewel on top. Highly recommend.

This Victrola Empire 6 in 1 turntable is exactly what I expected based on the product description and majority of prior reviews. I absolutely love the retro look. While the sound quality is not what you would get from an expensive stereo system, it is very good for my main purpose of playing my old vinyl records again (they are not exactly in mint condition!) The tape player, FM radio, CD player, and headphone jack all work fine. I was easily able to connect with bluetooth on my phone to listen to Sirius XM or other streaming music. I've had no problems with any needle skipping while playing records. The only problem I've encountered was that the hole in the middle of the plastic spindle adapter to play 45's is a bit too large causing the record to wobble as it spins and consequently distorted sound. I swapped it for the spindle adapter from a cheap suitcase record player (NOT a Victrola) I bought a few years ago that recently quit working. Since this was an easy fix for me I didn't think it worth deducting a star in my review. I'm very pleased with my purchase, and I've enjoyed listening to it every day since it was delivered.

So far, I haven't experienced any issues with skipping or sound quality, though I don't intend it for daily heavy use. The Victrola Empire has an incredible retro style that looks great in any room. The sound is pretty good - considering the price point. I purchased this to be able to play my old and recently new vinyl LPs, but also wanted to play CDs and Cassettes, and use it as a Bluetooth speaker as well. My ONLY complaint is with the LACK of standard functionality with the Cassette Player. You can't rewind - only fast forward. And that means if you want to rewind the tape you have to eject it, flip it over and hit fast-forward. With all of the incredible functionality of this awesome looking player, the lack of Cassette controls is really glaring. I deducted a full star for that issue. Otherwise, considering the affordable price, I would have given this 5 stars. Come on, Victrola, you did drop the ball on the Cassette Player.

For the money it has so many nice features and is perfect for my needs. First of all I can put something on top of it without worrying about a clear plastic phonograph cover getting scratched and I need that space saving ability. There’s no bass or treble adjustment but it sounds fine for the relatively small investment. Clear instructions so no trouble setting it up. My iPhone shuts down Bluetooth if I open other apps while listening to music, so I fired up my iPad instead - but iPad wouldn’t connect until I disconnected iPhone but no big deal. A remote would have been nice but again for the great value I don’t expect extra features. So great to play old albums & our 80’s cassettes again. Cassette player (on the right side of the unit) felt like it was broken at first but it shoves in at an angle instead of perpendicular to the unit, it worked fine (and glad I didn’t damage it) after I figured that out. Phonograph arm arrives UP in shipment, that was another hiccup to need adjustment (and a sweet flashback memory lowering the arm with the little handle). Assuming the security shipment screw stays in the unit after releasing it in case it is needing to be shipped again? Instructions didn’t specify and it’s not in the way when playing records. We don’t usually get great radio reception from units we’ve had in the past but this one is terrific, so that was unexpected surprise. Really love it, thanks so much!

Bought this for my dad for Father's Day. The sound is excellent, especially since he is hard of hearing. The record table looked really loose with a large gap, but still played once you figured out how. The knobs and dials are pretty cheap feeling, but whatever, we love the overall look. HOWEVER, the CD player did not work. I called Amazon support and I don't know if the rep had no idea what a record or a CD is...but I repeated multiped times that the record plays perfectly and the CD doesn't work, but their troubleshooting idea (even after consulting with a manager) was to "check the belt for why the table won't turn". I never said that the table wouldn't turn and had to explain yet again that the turntable/record works and CD's are digital...and do not need a belt to work! Then the rep tells me that this item was discontinued and I purchased a refurbished "Used-Good condition" item. I would never have purchased that and was looking very closely to make sure I got a new item when I purchased because I didn't want something refurbished. When I became irate, he then said he could offer me a full refund which should post to my card in 3-5 business days and I could drop off the return at UPS. I informed him I no longer had the original packaging so I asked that the instructions be for UPS to package. He confirmed all of these things would happen. After the call, my QR code states that *I* must package and label the item and that a refund would be issued when they receive it. I then came back to this page, where lo and behold, a bunch of the item were in stock...BRAND NEW! I had paid $99.00 at the time for mine, and now they are charging $165! For something that was supposedly discontinued and used/refurbished only. I then went to Victrola's website, and the very first image on the page is this item, on sale for $129. and for first time customers, a 10% discount. I was able to purchase a BRAND NEW item from the manufacturer for $125. Be careful what you buy and when you have the chance to purchase direct from the company, do it! Amazon will cheat you where it can.
