Kept squirrels away for the most part!
The battle of the squirrels partially won. I got to taste some of my fruit! The netting worked pretty well and easy to wrap a small tree. I stretched it out wide and started wrapping from the top, overlapping all the way down. I used clips/sandwich ties along the way to securely close overlapping areas. At the bottom I threaded ribbon and then cinched it closed around the base of the trunk. I was able to pick about half of the crop that I originally started with. I am not sure if the squirrel got in or if a rat made it up from the small space in the bottom. Just never know! My persimmons were sweet and nice to try after 3 years of the squirrel fight. I am not sure if this is worth all of the effort just for 7 persimmons! LolThe netting was tricky to remove without tearing.

Netting definitely keeps the birds out!
There's plenty of netting for a large garden. I bought clips to go with this and clipped the netting over some fencing I put up to keep our dog out of the strawberry and iris beds.

nice netting
I like the netting, though first stretching it out is a non-trivial task due to how tightly it is packed. It is easier to stretch out with 2 people unless, as I did, you pin one long edge to a clothesline and work your way down the netting.Initially it does not match the measurements advertised. Maybe after a season in the sun it will have relaxed to the advertised dimensions.I ordered 4, one of which tore simply stretching it out. The vendor was great and replaced the one that tore.I have always found netting to be a bit problematic to handle, but this product is much better in that regard than previous netting I have used. It doesn't seem to tangle up like some deer netting I had. And it also seems more durable.

Large holes/gauge
Netting easy to use but holes were too big-birds were still able to eat our figs!

Does what it's made for
This works well keeping the birds out. But once a mockingbird got her wings caught in the net, I took them all down.

Worth its money
So glad this was purchased? It was a great help keeping the birds an other critter’s out of my garden and grape vine. Very well worth the money spent on it. Have enough to do it again this year.

My blackberries are NOT SAFE!
UPDATE: I tried to get a picture but it just didn't work out but today I went out to pick blackberries and there were about 25 little birds all chillin on the netting picking at the berries right through the netting. So this definitely does not deter little birds. This bird mesh netting looked promising in the photos, but once I started putting over my bushes… not so much. The nylon is super thin and is not a uniform shape. That said, it's very easy to cut and shape, so it might work. But if you're trying to guard precious berries like they're crown jewels, this netting probably isn’t the netting you’re looking for.

Many uses!
Oddly enough, I used this on the underside of a canopy to hang party decor and everyone said “that’s a genius idea!” It held up through a bunch of six year olds, hundreds of little metal clips holding foliage and lanterns, and a rainstorm.
