Samsung 980 is perfect for everyday and gaming use
Best Bang for the Buck! Samsung 980 Gen 3 performace is roughly 90 to 95% of Samsung Evo 970 or Sabrent Rocket 3 SSD in atleast 30% less price. Also to mention that its power consumption is much lesser then Evo 970 and Sabrent Rocket 3 due to which less heat is generated and is ideal for laptops. Windows Boot time reduced from 1 min (in SSHD) to 12 secs (in 980 SSD) Also to mention that overall stability of laptop has increased due to which it is accessable most of the times as windows updates doesnt take that long to finish as on mechanial hdd. Also to.mention that even though it is DRAM less drive but it really doesnt affect performance in general pc use or even high end gaming. But it might not be a perfect drive if you run SQL service or CADs work. Sabrent Rocket 3 or 970 Evo + is for that group.

Here's my experience: Performance: Even though it's DRAMless, Samsung's HMB (Host Memory Buffer) technology makes it feel incredibly fast. Boot times are nearly instant, and large file transfers are Consistent. @+1 Sequential Speeds: I clocked it close to the advertised 3,100 MB/s read and 2,600 MB/s write on CrystalDiskMark. It handles multitasking and gaming load times with ease. Thermals: The nickel coating on the controller and the heat spreader label actually work. Even under heavy load, it stayed remarkably cool, which is crucial for maintaining longevity in compact builds. Software: The Samsung Magician software is the best in the business. It makes cloning your old drive, monitoring health, and updating firmware a breeze. Verdict: f you are upgrading from a SATA SSD or an older HDD, the difference is night and day. It's a reliable, high-performance drive from a brand you can trust. Excellent value for mid-range builds.

La unidad Samsung 980 es una maravilla. Ya tengo dos años con ella y ha funcionado a la perfección. Cuando la puse en mi computadora se sintió de inmediato la diferencia en rendimiento. La velocidad de carga es muy rápida y el rendimiento general del sistema ha mejorado significativamente. A pesar de que Samsung son lo mejor en SSD, no son muy costosos respecto a otras marcas. Recomiendo totalmente este SSD para cualquiera que quiera actualizar de un disco duro o SSD SATA a un M.2.

SSD fácil de instalar e com alta performance. A taxa de leitura e escrita dele surpreende no dia dia. Inicia o sistema operacional e aplicativos muito rápido mesmo, os jogos carregam em questão de segundos também. Recomendo muito.
