Been buying Audio Control products since 1990 or so and have found they represent high value, reasonably priced and great sounding. I use this model in a home system powered by a 12.8volt Li-Fe-PO4 capable of delivering 100 amps retailing for around 100 USD. Add a 30 dollar charger and you will be in hog heaven and have as clean a power supply as possible. Buying a SOTA Purifi amp of comparable power will set one back more than a couple of grand and likely indistinguishable in real world conditions. Bravo to AC! This amp is a prize and IMO better sounding than the Epic series.

Some have said this amplifier had problems or issues with design or build, but I'm here to dispute that claim.I now own 3 Audio Control amplifiers, and one DSP, the DM-810. Two LC 6-1200 and one LC 1-1500. I just upgraded my fronts and rears to Morel Elate Carbon Pro 63A, with two 12" Rockford Fosgate TW1's. Sony XAV-9000 ES head unit. All interconnects are Worlds Best Cable Mogami interconnects. I installed and tuned everything myself.This is a complicated amplifier, yes. It has Linkwitz-Riley crossovers for all channels, and channel summing for all channels as well. 1-2 for high, 3-4 for bandpass OR high or low pass, and 5-6 for low pass. If you do not know how to set an active crossover, do your homework.These amplifiers also have MILC detection, which tells you when each channel is maxed out, and beginning to clip. Important for anyone that wants to listen at high volume without distortion, and especially while tuning your input and output levels and gains.These amplifiers also have a 5 YEAR WARRANTY. Register your amplifier online, and they will repair or replace components inside, or replace the amplifier. They are "designed" in America, and fixed and repaired in America. Much like your Apple phone. Just better.These are priced according to the quality of the components internally, as well as the technical design. If you want to pay for Walmart quality components and design, get a Walmrt amplifier. When you're ready for a professional, high quality, high-end amplifier, get one of these. You will not be disappointed.

This amp produces very clean sound for my mid and highs. Very configurable for different applications and easy to install.

Paired with audio control speakers, this thing is awesome! And it should be for the price!

Power and clean sound signal

This amp on paper is amazing. The power and all the functionality (DSP) packed together makes for a versatile amp that can deliver quality sound. My set up. 23 Tacoma, nonJBL factory HU, Kicker 51HS10, Kicker (KSS269 fronts + KSC650 rears). 16ga speaker wire, all solder connections.I was super stoked about this setup and I took significant time to understand the setup and the appropriate steps in installing the amp.During initial setup playing pink noise the amps MILS clipping LED detection never lit up. So I just set my volume to 75% and called it good.During gain setup for channel 1/2 & 3/4 none of the LED’s would light up to indicate clipping at higher volume. Set them at about 70% gain on both. Used the accu bass and channel summing. Initially got me a full cab of clear sound with great bass vs very front heavy with factory system no bass. I couldn’t even hear the rear speakers before. This lasted about two weeks before I started having issues with right side 3/4 channels dropping out. Crackly sounds from 3/4. Sometimes it was good then all of a sudden it would start again.Now at low volume I get no sound from 3/4 and have to turn it up the above 60% to get any sound output. Its has also started cutting off a stereo system altogether. Incredibly frustrating and weird.I’ve been reading about these issues on other forums and because I bought it from a non authorized retailer I get no warranty apparently. Maybe just a Lemmon. Again great premise but crappie build quality. Make sure you purchase from authorized dealers or you’re screwed.
