will this wall mount for cisco 7821 phone tip back so receiver does not fall off base?

It will work. The pone can not be tip back as the Wall mount will be flush with the Wall. But the phone has in the base where the receiver rest a Little slot that you need to push out with your fingers. All you need is to pull that piece out, turn it around and put it back in. That Little piece when turn arround hold your phone from falling. Try it first before buying so you won't have a problem.
