It Worked!!
I had low expectations for this as most of these drain chems don't work. I WAS WRONG!!!!Finally a product that does what it is intended to do.I had a 95% clogged drain in the bathroom sink. If you ran the water, the sink would start to fill up with water and when you shut the water off, it would take about 3 to 5 min for the water to empty. So it wasn't a complete blockage, but blocked none the less.I followed the directions as stated, poured the powder down the drain and added 2 cups of hot water and let it sit for 30 min. After 30 min, I went and closed the sink drain plug and filled the sink with hot water. I wanted to create enough gravity flow as I can.I released the drain and it the water started going down....Not at full drainage yet though. I used the tool that this came with and put it in the drain. With very little effort, it was enough to push the clog through the p-trap and the water drained with such speed I had forgotten how quickly the water was supposed to go down the drain.I had a slight blockage in the kitchen sink. Same usage and same great result. This one wasn't as bad, the water was still draining but it was slow. After the use of this stuff, again, I was reminded of how its actually supposed to drain.Just one thing, be careful of the slight odor/gas that is produced when the stuff foams up when water is mixed with it. I had to back up from the sink for a second to let it dissipate when I first poured the water in with the powder. The warning is on the package, just heed it.I give this product 5 stars and will purchase it again if ever needed.

AMAZING!!!!!
I am really surprised, and delighted, how well this worked. I bought a new home 6 months ago and the master bath sink was always slow to drain. water would trickle down the drain and if i fiddled with the faucet rate of flow i could get my needs taken care of before the sink overflowed. I really did not want to deal with trying to unclog it and I did not want to pay a plumber. So I dealt with it for 6 months. Then I came across Green Gobbler and the price was certainly reasonable so why not give it a try. I also bought a bag of plastic snakes inexpensively. The green gobbler kit comes with a snake but i was pretty sure i had a heck of a blockage and would need more. I was sure it would be gross pulling everything out. After all, it was the previous owners gunk in the drain. I poured one packet of green gobbler down the drain. The sink plunger is attached very well and only comes up about 1/2 inch or less so it was in the way. I put on gloves and pushed the gobbler crystals down the drain through the slit opening the around plunger. (ok I am a girl....an old one). I had to put a bit of water to get all the crystal in the drain but maybe just a 1/4 cup. I waited 45 minutes. The directions said 15-30 but i got caught up in something else. I ran the hottest water possible for about 15 minutes then I used the snake that came in the kit. I was really surprised how clear the drain was!! It worked almost perfectly. I got a very small amount go gunk out using the snake. The snake was almost totally inserted and I could feel what seemed like a bit of resistance. I was persistent using the snake as directed in the kit. I think I pushed something forward and everything was perfectly clear. I then ran hot water again for another 15 minutes. There was no backup of water at all! The drain worked to perfection. I don't know what I pushed forward and I hope i didn't do anything bad. But right now this sink, that has been a tolerated nuisance for 6 months, is perfect! I wish I had found this earlier. Its the best!! I went into this not really expecting much success and i am so pleased with the outcome. Oh.....and I never needed the extra snakes i bought

Slow eater...but it works!
Our drains weren't clogged, but the bathroom sink was running slow. Now it is worse than it was! I used it twice as the directions say and it actually made it worse. Before it would go down, but at times it was slower, now we actually have standing water after we wash our hands and then it creeps down. I think I may try some baking soda and vinegar treatment tonight. The reason I gave it 2 stars was because this stuff does work great in the shower! That wasn't running slow but I could her it "glubbing" at times so I thought I would just clean any soap scum and hair out. It worked beautifully on that drain and I would use it again there. Maybe it will only work on larger drains???UPDATE: I had to come back and give this more stars because initially I had only given it 2. The day I used this I left it in the tub drain and the bathroom sink drain for a few hours because they were not clogged. The tub was wonderful right after that and running freely. The sink was still a little slower than I wanted so I did the overnight treatment and then woke up to a clogged sink that would only trickle down and didn't even drain fast enough to keep clear from washing your hands. That was when I left the first part of this review. HOWEVER, it ran that way all that day. I used the sink as normal and just waited for the water to go down. Pain in the neck! Then the next morning when I washed my hands it seemed a little better and made a few glubbing sounds when the water drained out. I figured oh what the heck and filled the basin with hot water to see what would happen. It made a few bubbles and then ran freely! Amazing. Apparently, the enzyme was just a slow eater of the shaving cream, soap and what not in the drain. It is running now without any glubbing or bubbles at all! Very pleased with it and would definitely use it again to maintain my drains now.
