The post and photos are wrong. This doesn't fit a 08 vw gti. Don't waste your money. Like I did.

Dimensiones y función correcta Tiguan 2012
A pesar de ser ligeramente distinto al original, el socket (soporte del foco) entró con facilidad y funcionó bien en mi VW Tiguan 2012. Le puse focos h7 LED. Espero que dure funcionando correctamente mucho tiempo.

A little bit longer.
For my 2017 Passat, it was a little bit longer on the end. It was very tight getting it to snap in. I will say it did resolve my problem of the headlight not working.

Works good in '12 Passat
Really tight fit, which is nice, but it required filing tiny amt off the small tabs that stick out.Now the H7 bulb is nice and secure inside.
