A good #3 or #4 competitor
I've powered through a lot of ceramic based and other quick detailers this spring after discovering hybrid wax from Meguiar's last year and exploring lots of alternatives for quick detailing including:-Chemical Guys Hybrid V7 (amazing!!!)-Cerama Shield PBl Sio2 (OK)-Shine Armor Fortify Quick Coat (good, finicky sprayer, targeted toward a more dirty car)-Mother's Ultima Hybrid Ceramic Detailer (did not like at all on a dark metallic car)-Rain-X Exterior Detailer and Water Repellent (non-ceramic) ok, leaves bad water spots after rain-Meguiar's Hybrid Ceramic DetailerThis product hits #3 or #4 for me out of that whole lineup-- different products are good for different things. Here is how I line it up:Best versatile: Meguiar's Hybrid Ceramic Detailer - Easy to use, easy to apply, good dark rich results, hydrophobic in that it doesn't leave water spots.Best for a dirtier car: Shine Armor. It's a super fine mist and it takes very little but I knock the bottle's bizarre button "on/off" constantly and this needs addressed.Best for the deepest darkest lusture on a metallic even if applied in slight sunshine: The Chemical Guy's Hybrid V7 is unreal amazing and unlike anything I've ever seen. It doesn't last that long and needs re-applied but what it does is truly remarkable.Good value/overall good application/good results: This product! There are only two points where I can knock this product a slight bit:1. Lubricity / glide during application is a bit low, making it a little bit more work to apply, while not anything as hard as a real wax, not quite as much "comfortable glide" as you'd get from the Cerama Shield, Chemical Guys Hybrid V7 or Meguiar's Hybrid Ceramic Detailer, but the final results are good.2. The deep shine is not quite as deep as the Chemical Guys Hybrid V7, but note that the V7 is specifically intended for dark and dark metallic cars and that's what I'm using it on so take that for what it's worth.3. One way this product is better than the standard Rain X Exterior Detailer (non-ceramic) is that this one does not leave quite as much water spotting after a rain storm and natural drying.4. Chemical Guys & Meguiar's Hybrid Ceramic Detailer are a bit better at lowering the surface tension and allowing the water to sheet off and create less spotting than all the other products. So this product is pretty affordable and does a pretty decent job and doesn't have any of the "bad" features of any of the worst. A pretty decent middle ground if you ask me. No concerns, recommended.

It's a good detailer, but better products exist
As specifically a detailer, this stuff works well. It leaves your car with a shiny, wet-look finish that looks great and gets the water beading up like a good wax job. But the problem is the actual usage of this stuff. So let's get into that...This stuff sprays right onto the paint, you use a circular motion to rub it in, and then with a dry cloth, buff it back out. The result: a good looking finish. However, after using it - and another product (admittedly not a detailer, but a liquid wax)...I wasn't as impressed. The competition is "Meguiar's Hybrid Ceramic Liquid Wax" in this case.Turns out, the liquid wax is applied exactly as the detailer, so you're not saving time using it over the wax. But the wax lasts a LOT longer (weeks instead of days), so for my money - or more importantly, my time - I'm sticking with the liquid wax. I could see using this detailer as maybe a "refresher" for the wax, but in that case, it doesn't make a lot of sense from a cost standpoint - the two are roughly the same cost, so my money would go to the one that lasts longer.

Leaves a terrible haze - AVOID
This product is advertised as easy on/off.It goes on easy, and leaves a mess of a haze that I've yet to be able to remove despite lots of work with a microfiber cloth.Best to learn from my mistake and go with another product. If you ever apply this stuff and have to deal with the terrible haze it leaves behind, you'll understand what I mean and wish someone had warned you. *sigh*
