Writer-director Roger Marsh wrote the original short novel, Mars Attacks Chicago, rewrote the work into a stage play, then a live radio drama performed on Chicago stages - and now a full-length screenplay. This quirky comedy looks at simple hometown folks who tell a little white lie - get some media attention and like it - and then feed a new story to the police and media just for fun. The result is worldwide media attention they were not expecting, new falsified stories they were not counting on - something only an invasion from Mars can stop. The rest is history. Includes more than 100 local cast members, more than 20 local crew members, and more than 300 local extras. Shot on-location in Mt. Pleasant and nearby Scottdale, Pennsylvania. Special Features: Behind-the-Scenes, Slideshow, & Extra Scenes.
