Question 1

So can i get various darknesses for the refills? Id like to replace wood pencils from 4h through 6b

Accepted Answer

We made the refill packs with only 5B leads, same as the mechanical pencil set. You will have to search for other grades of 2 mm leads for this holder. We don't have that at this time.

We do have a few Leda's Ultimate Pencil Set with wood pencils. https://www.amazon.com/Leda-Art-Supply-657814836006-Ultimate/dp/B07KGHJ7PB/ref=sr_1_fkmrnull_1?keywords=leda+ultimate+pencil+set&qid=1555280424&s=gateway&sr=8-1-fkmrnull

Question 2

Would this fit the lead/barrel of a standard Prismacolor colored pencil? The wood around mine broke and I need something to hold it.

Accepted Answer

2mm is 2mm. I think it'll take any 2mm lead . Leda says colored lead but they are horrible; they don't lay down color without practically smashing it. The prismacolor or whatever really good lead you can find will work

Question 3

Where to get eraser refills?

Accepted Answer

The Leda Mechanical Pencil set does not come with an eraser (so we don't offer eraser refills.) We do offer lead refill packs which are available on Amazon.

Question 4

For extra soft lead what number I should order?

Accepted Answer

Image titled Choose Mechanical Pencil Lead Step 33
Determine the best hardness for your work. Soft lead will leave behind a thicker mark when you write. It is darker and more smudge prone than other leads. Harder leads leave behind marks that are lighter and finer. The two most common hardness ratings are medium grade HB and H leads, but there are three main categories of hardness that you should take into consideration:[4]
Soft lead. The softness of this lead is represented by a number followed by the letter B. The higher the number, the softer the lead. Therefore, 4B lead will be very soft, 3B lead less so, and so on.
Medium lead. With medium leads, the letter B represents the softest kind and will write like a No. 1 pencil. HB medium leads write the same as a No. 2 pencil. F medium leads are similar to a No. 2½ pencil. Last but not least, H medium leads will be hardest and correspond to a No. 3 pencil.
Hard lead. The hardness rating for hard lead is indicated by a number followed by an H. As the numbers increase, so too will the hardness of your lead. An 2H pencil (corresponding to No. 4) will be softer than a 3H pencil, and so on.[5]
