Should have bought sooner
This cleared my condensate line faster than you can say condensate. Easy to use. Doesn’t need instructions. Figure out which end sucks and which end blows, stick the appropriate end on your pipe, and pump. Watch the gunk come out!

Boom! Fast and easy
I bought this and went straight to work with it. Nothing else was unclogging the condensation return line. It seems everything else was just pushing the clog a little down the line. I connected this to an input after the trap near my attic AC unit. I then found something by which to seal the part of the pipe going into the unit. So now all the force was going down the line. 3 pushes of the pipe later and the clog was clean and everything back to normal.

AMAZING
Wowie!! Shocked at how easily this cleared the line. I've never had any luck with a shop vac so this was the last gadget to try before calling a tech. I may give these out for Christmas. It's not fun now, but you'll thank me later!

Works as described, but poor instructions.
Amazon clearly sent me a used repackaged unit, but it appeared to be in good condition and worked as described with some adjustments so i kept it. 1. The clamp was on the wrong side/wrong hose, but that could have been done by whom ever returned it. If I didn't notice it, I could have pumped everything back into the unit vs out, which could have been very bad. 2. It is pretty simple to use. Attach hose to drain and pump out. 3. I had trouble at 1st because the instructions on the box didn't say and I didn't think to uncap the drain on the unit side, or else there is too much vacuum pressure in the drain and pump, which will prohibit you from being able to pump. 4. Once I figured that out, it worked great and cleared the drain of a ton of water and gunk completely in only about 2 pumps. Overall I am pleased with the unit. It is cheaper and an easier 1st line of action vs waiting for an AC repair man to show up in a day or so with your AC down in the middle of the summer to charge you more than twice as much to do the same thing.

Did What My 6HP Wet Vac Could Not
1. I cannot speak to the long-term durability of the product but it cost less than a single visit from an AC person.2. Based on past negative reviews, I purchased silicone lube for the inner pair of seals. When I opened the pump before use. The seals were already liberally greased from the factory. I would suggest everyone confirm this before use. You need to generate a lot of force to pull up the handle to suck out a clog and dry rings would be a nightmare.3. Happy surprise. When I opened the hand pump before use to check the seals, I found a spare pair of seals around the shaft inside the pump. They can stay there until needed.4. I had a nasty clog that my 6hp shop vac could not suction out from the outside condensate line. It took about four strokes with this pump.5. Once done sucking out the clog, I poured about two quarts of white vinegar through the condensate line from inside the house/garage and confirmed I had vinegar dripping outside at the condensate line outlet.5. After confirming I was done with the condensate line, I placed the hand pump intake in a clean bucket of water and flushed the pump and lines until the water coming out was nice and clean. I opened the pump afterward and emptied any remaining water in the pump and lines, allowing them to air dry prior to reassembly and storage.
