Marina EZ Care Betta Kit, Blue

Got this for my nephew to go with a Beta fish. It is the perfect size for this fish that needs to be by itself in the tank.

Nice little tank! Makes having at betta at work easy! I've tried other small set ups before but always ran into the issue of how to keep clean while not being super obvious that I have a pet at work. This works great! Pour water in, nasties come out into the reservoir on back (which conveniently looks like a water reservoir for a coffee machine :)) and I go dump it in the sink (or use it to water my plants)! Only issue I have had is that I purchased a baby betta (MAYBE the length of a quarter) for this tank and it was tiny enough to swim through the holes in the bottom and get into the water discharge thing. I was able to just flush him out and into the back reservoir and then place him back in the tank proper. I also rearranged the rocks so that all the holes were properly blocked (an over site on my part). Once he gets bigger though, or if you start off with a full grown betta, this won't be a concern.Obviously the bigger the tank, the better, but for the purpose of what I wanted with this desktop setup, this is fantastic!

Ignore the title. I only put it as that so you would actually read this TRUTH. This is awful. Why would someone by this. I rated only bc I feel bad for companies that don't make it. I hope this company can expand on their products to be less cruel and inhuman to animals

absolutely the worst item you can buy for your betta (or any fish for that matter). “cleaning system” doesn’t work in the slightest AND the system leaked all over the counter when it was “full” (of literally nothing but the same water that’s already in the main tank). the big hole at the top is especially perfect if you have a nosey cat, and let’s you constantly smell the reeking fishy stench of filthy water since there’s no filtration whatsoever (even if you dump fresh water in the tank to “clean” it). i bought a cheaper, smaller temporary tank since my betta fish was clearly unhappy and dying in this tank, and it was an automatic 180 in his health and happiness from this piece of junk. save your money.

Pretty tank, very asthetically pleasing, BUT the "cleaning valve" does not work whatsoever
