Worth the money!
Beautiful wood case. deep colors with smooth drawing and coloring use. Well packaged to keep it safe. My favorite treasured set. The price may be more then I have ever spent on colored pencils however after saving for them I am not upset at all. So worth itComparable to Prismacolor pencils.

Very disappointed in quality/color
I am extremely disappointed in the quality and the colors of these pencils. My old Berol Prismacolors (made in USA) are FAR superior. I am so sorry I purchased this set, media hype and I really didn't need an additional wooden box for $163.00 more.... Buyer beware.

Wow!!!!!!!!!
I just received this fabulous set of pencils, and I'm thrilled to pieces!!!! These are so beautiful, and the wooden box is the icing on the cake. I not only received the pencils, I also received "Meltz" which is made specifically for these pencils, and a sharpener. I couldn't be happier!!!! ❤️💕❤️💕❤️💕

Superior quality up there with Polychromos and Caran d Ache
These are definetly not inferior to Berol. Especially since the berol are not manufactured since decades anymore and the replacements for the Beril are low quality, I have a set and know the differences, starting with the wood that always breaks from the Prismacolors abd the non centered keads, the pacjaging is also inferior to the Holbein box. And especially inferior to the Holbein wood box. These simply cNt be compared to Prismacolors because then you are comparing apples to oranges. Prismacolor are wax based, Holbein are a tiray hybreed between wax and oil but yi would categorize them closer to the Polychromos. Also the shaft is thicker than the cheaply made Prismacolor and is nicer made with bwtter wood. Since Rubbermaid fought Sandord and moved manufacturing to Mexico the Quality is gone when they were maid by Berol.
