I am no knife expert by any means, but I find some of the reviews about these knives difficult to understand specifically, the sharpness of the blade. These knives are sharp, and you would be well advised to be careful when washing or handling them. How long they stay this way time will tell, but out of the box, they are extremely sharp. As for the design, they are comfortable to hold and use and they just feel good in my hands. To me, they feel weighted very well and I can feel the weight of the blade when cutting. In summary, you can spend a lot more for better knives I'm sure, but these are reasonably priced for Henkels knives and I'm sure they will last me a very long time since I take care of my utensils by hand washing and drying.

Lost one star because one knife came with a bent tip. Otherwise I’m very happy with these knives! They’re sharp, attractive, and easy to hold. Glad I purchased these.

Many months in service now and very little dishwasher rust spots. Our original set that came with the full knife set; rusted severely. I know it is all about the quality of the stainless steel. These were a higher grade. They still look good!

I love Henkels. Their knives are the sharpest and great cutting instrument.

We have had these for two years. They worked just fine in the beginning but we have had two fall apart recently. The black part chips or falls apart. We hand wash them and take care of them. I'm currently shopping to find the next level up quality-wise so we don't have to rely on these any longer.
