So far, I'm glad I took a chance on a product with no reviews. Blows cool air quite efficiently and keeps a large room in my house quite cool. This is a room that will usually get up to 85+ once the heat comes, and it's been staying in the low 70's. Don't expect an air conditioner, that's not what this product is. But sitting in front of it on the couch is really refreshing and it keeps my old dog, who doesn't tolerate heat well, very comfy all day.

I was pleasantly surprised at the build quality of this, as my wife can attest I am more often than not disappointed with most products these days, they are usually always lacking.This thing works well for a bedroom as long as you live in a reasonably dry climate, we're in Colorado so no problems there, don't expect this to work in Florida or Louisiana lol.I added a mini float valve to the bottom tank and plumbed it to our RO system which was easy in my situation. Now I will never have to fill it again and can leave it on 24/7 if I want, and the RO water will ensure the water pad never gets filled up with calcium. Search mini-float valve on amzn and you'll find it.

It really sends the cool air and saves us from using AC all night longThings that can be improved:1. There is no way to turn off the lights on the display. It is super sharp and bright, making it harder to use in the bedroom.2. It's not that easy to remove the bottom compartment for cleaning.3. It would have been much more convenient if the top or bottom compartment could be detached in a way to fetch the water.

This fan is like an air conditioner freestanding it is absolutely amazing my daughter has a front window that faces the street cannot put a window unit in this unit cools the entire room just like an air conditioner I cannot get over how cold the air gets! Phenomenal

Memorial Day 2021...Here in Northern Cali, it was 108* outside, & 90* in my apartment, the perfect lab to test this product. Within 40 mins, the temp had dropped to70* & it was comfortable. It comes with 2 little bottles to freeze & place in the water well, but I have my own Blue Ice packs, & I kept rotating them, & adding more water, through the top chamber. Bring on the heat...I'm cool!!!

We got this to give it a try - was sceptical that it would cool down my room and - as it turns out, it's basically a humidifier with a ventilator. It will not cool - just blow. The humidity here in the central valley is anywhere between 7-25%, so adding a bit humidity is not the end of the world. But if it can't cool with so little humidity then it basically does not deliver what it is supposed to. I give it 2 starts as the build is ok but it does not actually cool at all, so it fails in it's main task.

I must have gotten a different model. I even contacted VIP customer service and got different answers than the Q&A. The water tank cannot be removed in my model WTF-010L. It is only cool if you put ice packs in it and yes you can put ice cubes in the bottom water compartment. This is just a very expensive fan without the cooling feature. Just try lifting the entire unit to clean the water compartment. Can you lift it to your sink, I cannot. The blue light is so bright it lights my whole bedroom, so not good for a bedroom. Thankfully I got a good price, but I may still return it.

This cooler works well on our patio. It is quiet and does actually blow cool air. There is an option to add ice packs to make it every cooler, which will help in the Texas heat.
