This pressure cooker is truly remarkable! I prepared a traditional Persian dish in it, and after two hours, the outcome was exceptional – noticeably different from using a conventional pan. It cooks significantly faster, however, please remember to adjust the water and cooking time accordingly. It is also remarkably easy to use, and it includes a five-year warranty – what more could one desire? Furthermore, it is crucial to ensure all steam has been released before opening the cooker. The reviews mentioning food everywhere are likely due to this oversight. Pressure cookers must not be opened until the steam has been completely vented by carefully lifting the pressure regulator slightly.

We recently upgraded to the Hawkins Hevibase 3.5L Pressure Cooker, and it's been a game-changer for our kitchen. As a couple, this size is just right — not too big, not too small. We can comfortably cook enough for two, with a bit left over for leftovers. Cleaning is straightforward, and the build quality feels solid. We've used it for everything from rice and lentils to curries, and it performs consistently well. Overall, the Hawkins Hevibase 3.5L Pressure Cooker has been a reliable addition to our kitchen, making meal prep quicker and more convenient.

My last pressure cooker was made in Italy and it fell apart in less than 12 months. This pressure cooker is bomb proof. It's a real joy to cook with. Faster at cooking than my 2 previous pressure cookers. Our new house has an induction hob, so my trusty old Prestige wouldn't work. It was ancient and wasn't cooking so well. This one is very sturdy and has virtually no moving parts so there's little chance of it failing. I love this thing. It's brilliant. The only downside is that to make the seal so effective, it has a lip around the top, which makes it harder to clean.

Problems working with induction cooktop. Initially first time I cooked with it, no problems with induction however the next day it stopped making the magnetic connection with my induction cooktop and it randomly works or doesn't work. Keeps making this ticking sound as if it connects for a split second and disconnect. A big nuisance. My guess is the ferrous iron plate is too thin or it separated or something. Too easily damaged. And the centre part where the logo is, is not magnetic. Do not recommend for induction reliability. Also beware it's made of aluminium which is not hardy like steel and will corrode or pit with the wrong use, too hard to take care of for years. Can also leach aluminium in food if you don't follow it's care instructions

I always believe in Hawkins, happy and used it for a month and very happy with it. I made curry, rice, and many dished with it. So far very happy. Easy to use, very safe to use, and more over felt cooking time less compare with my old cooker.
