Bissell Steam Mop, Steamer, Tile, Hard Wood Floor Cleaner, 1806, Sapphire Powerfresh Deluxe

This steam mop is easy to use and does a fabulous job on my hardwood floors. The cleaner I had been using for years seemed to leave a film and residue on the surface and wasn't doing a good job of cleaning. The first use of the steam mop took care of much of the residue. After the second time the floors look wonderful. No film or dirt left behind. This was a great purchase.

Can u tell where I started and stopped? Me neither. I did the top 4x4 tile rows by the door. Idk if it's the type of floors I have or what, but I'd rather a push regular mop than this. Returning asap and continuing my search . Leaving 5stars only so others can read this review and be informed, actual rating- 0stars

If you have flooring and don’t have one of these you’re fooling yourself if you think your floors are clean

Its ok. I had an oreck steam mop and it broke. They don't make them anymore so I bought this one. What I like about it..it has a long cord, a wider washing surface and it stands on its own. What I don't like about it is its hard to put the pad on it, it doesn't hold as much water as the oreck (i never had to refill the oreck for the same amount of sq. footage) and it leaves the floor wetter than the oreck. It serves the purpose.

I did a lot of research on a variety of different steam mops for sale on Amazon and finally settled on this one. I was worried about my choice because it didn't seem to have as much versatility as the mops with 6+ different attachments and choosing a mop that did more than just mop was one of my requirements. However, with just removing the mop head and using the steam blast scrubbing mechanism i was able to clean all the areas of my house without fancy attachments. I've cleaned my tile, my grout, my baseboards, my upholstery, and stains on my carpet! The steam is hot, very hot! So be careful when handling the mop and changing the pads. The steamer heats up quickly, in less than 30 seconds. The cord is long which makes cleaning large areas very convenient. The water reservoir is large and I can do my whole house off of one refill. I use distilled water and let the mop dry lying down after using. I like that the scrubber attachment is removable for easy cleaning. The while mop is sleek and slender, easy to store. Overall, this mop is a little more expensive than other mops that advertise all of their fancy attachments and modern design but I think I made the right choice choosing this one. My floors have never looked cleaner.

This is my second Bissell steam mop. The first one lasted 7 years with weekly use and 80% of my house is tile! I only use distilled water and I think that really helped to prolong its life. This new one has several new features that are great. Longer cord; doesn’t fall over as easily AND the best is that the mop head easily removes to blast steam onto grout and then the bristles that surround the area where the steam comes out makes cleaning your grout so easy!! Whoever dreamed this up deserves a raise! Thank youIf you mop- you need this product. It will make your life so much easier

UPDATED ONE YEAR LATER:After using this for one year I thought I would add an update. I am still v e r y pleased with this stem mop. It does the job. Vacuum well before using the Bissel for best results.Two very small niggles have emerged.1. The handle is NOT very ergonomic and if you have any arthritis in your hands you might consider padding the handle. I have not yet dine this, but plan to look for an appropriate wrapping maybe to use over a bit of foam.2. The cord does not like to stay ‘clipped’ and sometimes comes undone.I still find steam mopping the best and safest solution for cleaning my floors…especially with pets who can be sensitive to many cleaning products. I do enjoy adding just a hunt of organic essential oils to the “scent board” that fits into the plastic holder. It adds just enough to refresh the air without endangering my critter family members. I do remove the board after every use because essential oils could damage the plastic if left in place too long. I Have had no problems at all.++++++++++++++++I wanted a mop that was lightweight, easy to maneuver, did not require the use of cleaning powders or liquids, reduced bacteria and virus’ , stores easily in as small a space as possible.I ordered this Bissell and basically got exactly what I wanted!i have used a steam cleaner in the past (like 20 years ago) - it was a canister model that did a decent job but was a bit clunky to lug about. As age encroaches I found that I wanted a lighter, easier to manage steam mop that was light, easy to use, and cleaned like a wizard. I started doing some research and landed i. the Bissel. I am sensitive to many cleaning products. Steam sanitizes without the need for cleaning products!This model is easier to use and has very few - if any- negatives.Pros:* Lightweight* Very easy to maneuver. The cleaning head swivels to get into most any odd shaped or small area.* Produces prodigious steam in very little time.* Has two steam settings : regular steam and prodigious steam!* Easy to refill with water* Simple and intuitive to use.* The cleaning pads are well made, fit securely, clean very well and wash up perfectly. To me thats’s a win!Potential Cons* For anyone with arthritis in your hands and wrists - the handle could use a bit of padding. Certainly not a deal breaker but thought I would mention it.* Uses distilled water. I drink filtered water and I think that it will be sufficient - does not use all that much!I used it on vinyl flooring, LVP flooring, and tile flooring and it worked like a champ on all of them.Good product. Reasonable price. Clean, sanitized, floors!

This is a great little steam mop, and the brush feature really does a super job on grout and the mop itself leaves the floor squeaky clean. That is why I give it four stars. Unfortunately, the first one I purchased (earlier model, but very similar) did not last very long at all and that is why I don't give five stars. Part of that was apparently my fault, since I did not use distilled water- also why I give it four stars instead of three. I am using nothing but distilled water in this one and I am in hopes that is the trick to make it last longer. Very lightweight, easy to fill and use, and definitely fills the bill if it lasts longer than my first one did.
