is the manual watering timed? Or does it stay on until you shut it off?

You can set the timer to run up to 360 minutes. However, there is a manual on/off button that you can override the timer with.

Is there a maximum psi for incoming water?

I don’t think so.. my water supply is coming in at 150 psi. I have had this unit for a couple of years and have had no issues. I used it to add water to an indoor swimming pool .
