Leather Edge Bevelers, Beveler Tool Edge Skiving Beveler 1.8mm Skiver Tool

These work absolutely fantastic for the price. Decent quality through the entire tool and have had no issues thus far. As long as you keep it sharp I see this lasting a long time. Material seems strong enough. Good alternative to more expensive bevelers.

I’ve been doing leather work for years. This thing puts the multi function tools I was using to shame. The type that bevel,scribe,and cut stitching grooves. The #2 beveler was sharp out of the box and cuts like butter. There was a slight cosmetic defect in the finish on the handle that I corrected easily. I wonder how I put up with my old set up for so long. I just ordered a #4. They may not be a Berry King product but they get the job done with ease. Stay away from multi function tools. They do a crappy job at several things.

The fit and finish and packaging of the #2 beveler is very good. It also seems very sharp right out of the box. I would highly recommend, especially for the price point.

I just ordered this earlier this week because my last one got chipped on one of the edges and it was impossible to sharpen and to keep it on the edge of the leather. So just off a whim and in a pinch for both money and time I ordered this one and I wasn't expecting much since you usually get what you pay for and my last one I paid close to $60. So when I received it and went to edge my leather project I was working on I couldn't believe how easily it sliced down the edge of the leather. Nice and clean better than the one I paid $60 for. The shake of the blade is almost identical to my last one but one other thing I love about this one is the grove it has on the bottom of it that makes it easy to keep it right in the edge of your project. So with a savings of around $45 compared to the higher end brands this was an absolutely fantastic buy and I would absolutely recommend this product. Leather craft is an expensive hobby to begin with and if you can find well made tools like this for this price it adds up to much more money you can spend on actual leather.

The title says it all. Get the job done as expected. Steel is softer than I expected (hence the 4 not 5 stars). Be careful using it as the tip is pointy and will dig in if angle of cut is steep. But you get a perfect continuous cut if you use the proper angle. Will buy other sizes base on my experience.

Really well made. My suspicion, based on the steel used and the handle material/color, is that the factory making these is the same one that makes Tandy leather’s professional tool line. I own both and they are literally indistinguishable. This one is just far cheaper

Live these edge bevelers, slides very easily across the leather edges. I will buy another size, very well priced for the quality.

Perfect little french style edge skiver! Just make sure you are paying attention to which way you go, as this only works on one side do to the way it cuts the leather. Sharp and flies through my edges without issues!
