Light and aromatic
I'm not a tea expert, but this Darjeeling has a good scent dry (a little bit mild), and a good sweet, flowery flavor when brewed. This tea does NOT brew into a dark, malty color but remains transparent and light. This is a delightful tea and I'm glad it's organic as well. The leaves are as shown, large and curled, and don't fall out of a mesh tea ball.

worst quality of darjeeling!!!
I have been drinking tea for the past 50 years!!! I have had over 1000 different types of teas!!! I have lived in many different nations that mainly produce teas and have been enjoying it. I have corrected many professionals in their serving of the teas. I consider myself as a professional Darjeeling tea reviewer. I have been drinking darjeeling for more than 40 years. I have had many different types of Darjeeling. I also have had different seasons of the darjeeling as first flush and second and third. depending to the type of darjeeling makes a difference which flush to enjoy. This tea is the worst of darjeelings that i have had thus far in my life. the description of the tea is extremely inaccurate due to the photo of the tea that shows a complete leaf and what i see here is all broken leaf and the most important part of the tea is the taste and it taste as if it was sitting in a dry place for a long time because the taste is not fresh. I don't know who is the seller but regardless it is not in mid range quality. It is a waste because i am trashing it. it is not even worth it to give it away as a gift to a friend because again the quality is the worst. I do not recommend this tea at all to anyone. darjeeling is one of the most price tea if you can get the right one. I have few recommendations but i don't think its appropriate for me to announce it on this platform. Thank you, Charles
