The tin is larger than i expected. you get alot for the price.bad first impressionsI expected a flowery scent or the like since this is a natural product, but the smell is quite strong. At first it seems mild, but after I apply it to my skin the smell seems to grow in intensity. Its not a terrible smell, but it can be overwhelming for anyone with a sensitive nose.I can not speak to the effectiveness of the product yet since its the first day I got it, but I plan to update my review as I have more experience with this product.update 4-15=2017This has been very helpful with an unusual rash on my skin. I don't even notice the scent of the salve anymore. It helps a lot and i have not experienced any negative side effects. I'm happy i bought this. i will buy it again.

I love this product! We’ve been battling my son’s eczema for what seems like forever and I have tried countless creams, lotions and salves. This is my favorite product so far and I personally find it better than the honey products that are super popular right now. After a few minutes it really calms the redness he gets in his cheeks and chin. I use this in combination with a calendula moisturizer on his body since I feel like this does more healing than moisturizing. I use this primarily on the red, angry patches on his knees, elbows, feet, and hands.Additionally, I experienced great customer service today after calling about an odd smell from the last tin I purchased. They immediately offered to send a new tin in the mail and I really appreciate the ease and helpfulness from the company.

I’ve tried lots of ointments and this salve has been the most effective treatment I’ve found for dry, cracked skin on my elbow. Top marks!

I actually bought this product to use on my horse - he was having a weird skin allergy to an unknown irritant which resulted in his skin peeling on his chest. I saw in a book about herbals for horses that calendula could be used on them topically for irritations and figured I would give it a shot. I absolutely love the smell of this product and the slightly waxy texture makes it stick to my horse's skin where other creams come off almost immediately. He enjoys me rubbing this on his itchy chest and has had no ill effect from it - best of all, his peely skin has cleared up after just a couple applications about once a week!

I asked the lady from the company who insisted that I write a review of it. if it had 10% Calendula in it. She didn't answer my question, but she went on and on about other questions I didn't ask.Just because "Calendula" is the biggest word on the label, doesn't mean there's more of that than anything else. There's no % listings on any of the stuff I've bought that included the C word.I like the feel of this stuff on my lips. Like everything else I've tried, it doesn't cure chapped lips. You just have to keep applying it — for weeks and weeks. It feels okay. I keep it in my car, because that's where I'm most likely to get chapped lips.Just thinking about it makes my lips dry, though.

I, personally, am not a huge fan of this product. My husband has been using it on his dry, cracked hands - and he loves it. I do not like the scent (it reminds me of "no bakes" with a hint of lavender - and I just don't want that smell on my skin, haha) - but he thinks it has a nice smell, and doesn't think it smells like "no bakes" at all.It might work well - that's what my husband says - but I wouldn't know, because I just don't use it much at all. But my husband absolutely loves the product - so for that, it gets four stars from me. My husband can be difficult to please with "natural products" - so this thrills me! I'll rebuy just for that reason alone!So, they did something right.

I purchased this salve to help keep psoriasis under control. I bought this after doing some Google research on what to try for my kiddo’s perioral dermatitis around his nose. I read a suggestion to try calendula and jojoba oil so I searched on Amazon for something that had both those ingredients and this awesome stuff popped up. I was amazed that after months of trying this and that to no avail that my son’s nose was completely cleared up in less than 48 hours of using this salve twice a day. I say salve because that is what this is marketed as but I would compare it more to a balm, it’s very solid and will last for ages. I couldn’t be happier with this awesome product.
