It’s a reproduction but it works.

It's not an original sling, but it's a really good quality. The webbing is good and stitching is quite accurate. The 1943 production stamping is a nice touch!

A perfect fit for a carbine (M38 or 44) it’s just a little bit shorter than the original rifle sling so you can winch it up and take the slack out so it’s not hanging and flopping around d when you don’t want it too. The straps and buckles are near perfect reproductions… or maybe just a little better. - I would definitely recommend this strap.

This strap came in perfect shape and fit my Mosin Nagant 91/59 like a glove . The metal buckle on the dog collar on the rear tucked right in to the rear loop of the sling snugly, as not to rub up against the butt stock and scratching it. The strap came adjusted to the perfect length for my carbine. Very happy with this purchase! My 91/59 is a 1941 with all matching part numbers but the sling is dated 1943. No big deal to me, It looks and fits great! (Would highly recommend !
