I used as undercoat on an area where the paint was peeling. Might require more than one coat depending on severity of peeling

I have a greenhouse with concrete sides on two parts. Each year I have re-painted the walls with white emulsion. One or two years ago I noticed flaking paint on the walls! The internet is a wonderful thing about getting information about things such as this product I am reviewing. I scraped off all the loose paint (What a mess!) and brushed this stuff on. Being a greenhouse facing south the stuff soon dried...as did the emulsion I put on top of it! To date...May 2016 my walls remain good....

Our screened in back porch was painted when we moved in 30 years ago. The paint had already been chipping of...giving a distressed look. While we LIKED the look, it has been a PAIN because the paint has continued to chip and there was ALWAYS loose paint chips on the floor.My wife has been complaining for those 30 years about this wall...and this product seems to have "glued" the edges to the point that it has pretty much stopped chipping. Only a manageable few chips every couple of weeks. I get to keep my distressed paint look and stopped the wife's complaints.

Seems to have done the trick on our old, peeling beadboard ceiling. After reading all the reviews, I decided on this product over the Peel Stop Triple Thick version because it seemed that the Triple Thick was being used for mostly outdoor applications. This seems to have worked well, but it was a pain to roll onto a ceiling because it is so thin. Dries glossy and milky - definitely not clear, so don't make that mistake. Used a flat primer and two coats of flat ceiling paint over it and it seems to be holding up well after about a month. It also covers much more than advertised because it is so thin. One quart was enough for the entire ceiling, about 250 sq. ft.

Great product like a thin wood glue, worked to seal exterior window eve which had chalking lead paint. Covered a lot more surface than other paint I had previously used and being water based really easy clean up.
