Men's Barracuda Swim Trunks (Regular & Extended Sizes), Charcoal, X-Large

I had a pair of these a decade ago and loved them. I surf and fish all the time and these shorts are the best for these sports. I searched around town and found nothing I liked. Even searching Amazon for these took some time. Initially I ordered two pair and verified the fit and quality and then purchased two more. Here's what I like: 1. The price is amazing compared to shopping locally at the surf shops. 2. The fit is perfect. I have a 33-34 inch waste and the Large are just right. The waist will stretch to accommodate larger but then they would be tight in the legs. They are very comfortable to wear all day. 3. These shorts are very suitable for fishing and surfing. The cargo pockets are great for holding gear and wax. 4. They have a mesh lining that does not bind or creep. 5. Many colors and styles choose from. CONS: 1. The material is slightly thinner than the pair I had from a decade ago but not by much and is definitely not a show stopper. 2. Their size chart is a bit confusing. Large will fit a 33-34 waste well but if you are above or below that then choose accordingly.

These are actually very nicely made....I liked them a lot, but they didn't quite fit the way I want (I was looking for looser fitting type, and I found another brand that better fit that needs). I'm still rating these quite high, because I actually like the look and feel of them better. These have a very nice liner in them...but they are a little more "slim" cut...waist, length and look...they were awesome...I just found that they pulled (or were just a little tighter) from the hips across the butt (it wasn't bad...I just would have preferred slightly looser through that area...and I really don't have a big butt that was causing the problem...it's just a slimmer cut). I really liked the design and color choices...and I loved the outside drawstring. Since we're big guys...we know that not a X sizes run the same...so I'm including a few pictures to give you an idea...you can compare them to a pair of shorts you already have. Pic 1 - Inseam is about 7.5 inches. that doesn't seem like much, but with the liner and how it actually fits...these just hit my knee area. I usually wear a 34 inseam... Pic 2 - Outseam - is about 24 inches. These do sit higher on the waist...or in our case...belly. Pic 3 - Waist - is about 29 stretched. I measured this stretching the waist band to it's fullest. To compare to shorts you already have...lay a pair flat...measure the front side of the waist...this will give you an idea if you wall in the right range. Pic 4- Tags and stitching. Very nice shorts! Pic 5 - Wearing...you can see that these hang just to the knees All in all..I'd highly recommend trying these shorts. They are a great price...cool style...nice colors. Hope this helped some of you decide!

Couldn't be happier with these. I normally wear a medium (32-33) and these fit perfectly. I like that the length goes down to my knees. Quality is great. And it's really comfortable to wear--at home and outdoors. I will buy some more. Update (July 26, 2020): I was so satisfied with these Green pair, that I bought the Navy and Aqua as well. I should point out that I wear these around the house, to do grocery shopping, to run errands, etc. (So I can't comment on using them for water sports, etc.). I wash them in the washer, then let them dry outside (or inside) with the inner mesh liner out. They dry really fast. The only thing I don't like about them are the two vertical stripes. Without them, they would look like regular cargo shorts (which is how I use them) instead of athletic shorts. But this is a minor deal compared to all of the positives about these shorts. Note: I've noticed that more styles are being added under this one item. And I wanted to mention that depending on the style, the size and the feel of the fabric are different. For example, I also bought the Black Camo shorts. As far as fit (waist) and length (just to or slightly below the knee), they were exactly the same as the solids (green, aqua, and navy.) However, the Camo ones have a white lining which is sticky. That is, when my legs get hot, the white inner fabric sticks to the back of my thighs, and I have to peel it off. I noticed this when sitting indoors or when I get out of my car after driving. This was too uncomfortable for me, so I returned them. (However, this sticky effect is apparently a result of them being quick-drying. So if you are getting these for wearing to the pool or beach, they might be good for that.) I also bought the Floral ones (green/black), In addition to having the same sticky material as the Camo ones (which was a deal breaker), the floral ones were an inch shorter in length (which meant they rise up to to mid-thigh when I sit down (another deal breaker) than the Camos or Solids (green, navy, aqua.) So overall, for my purpose of just wearing these causally (around the house and running errands) the solids (with the two vertical stripes) have been the best for me. They are a perfect fit (waist and length) and don't stick to the back of my thighs (no sticky white material). And they are easy to take care of, since they dry really fast.

Bought for my 15 year old. The fit was perfect! I would order up a size. And I've never put in dryer... hang up to dry! Sun protection, easy to wear and comfy.

I am pleased with the shorts, but it took returning the first 3 pair to get there. My compliments to Amazon for working with me. I'm 6' and 160lbs usually wear either L or Med depending on style and material. With elastic waist I figured I'd get a L. First pair arv in sealed plastic bag with bar code and labeled size L, and cardboard tag tied to shorts said L... but they were WAY too big. Looking at the actual label sewn in the waistband it said "Size XXL" So returned and second pair arv with a 2 inch long cut right on top the thigh area. Not a rip or tear, but a razor clean sharp slit. Never even tried on. Returned. Third pair were in good condition but fit was too big in thigh and hip area. Also elastic waistband wouldn't hold them up alone, needed to rely on string tie to help. Returned. Forth pair I ordered a size Med. The fit is good. The elastic waist holds them up alone, but is not too tight. If the elastic should stretch over time the drawstring will be there to help. Quality is fairly decent for the price. Side pockets are nice size. My Galaxy S-10 in thick case fits easy... just drop it in! Mesh front pockets are a little small but ok for keys etc. Being mesh I don't put a lot in them, but the mesh does appear fairly strong. As a side note, close to giving up after numerous returns I also bought a pair of H url ey boardshorts on Amazon and wow have they gone downhill. Look for my review on them if you want, but in short I like these WAY better than the brand name ones.

These are great i was worried about ordering a 3x but it fits absolutely perfectly. Im 6'1,286 lb .I wear a size 46 pants . You dont need to order a huge size with this brand.nice lightweight breathable fabric

Kanu Surf Mens Barracuda Swim Trunks good quality fits true to size washes and wares nicely

Ordered one size bigger because of all the reviews but it ended up being bigger than I expected. Great quality for the price.

me sentí muy cómodo usandolo y su secado es rápido y tiene muy buen diseño

These are great! The pockets fit my 6.2 phone, with the water case on it, which makes it even bigger. I did order a 4xl, but that was way too big. I returned it, to get a 3xl, my other usual size. These 3xl shorts will do for around the house, but they are still on the big side. So going to order a couple more of 2xl & then 1xl, if the 2xl seems still too big too.....only time will tell - will give you an update when completed.....but for now - I totally recommend these swim shorts, just go a size or 2 down from your normal sizing - Cheers!

I normally wear a size medium, so I ordered two different colours in medium, but they were too big ,so I reordered in size small, and they fit perfectly. I would definitely purchase from this seller again.

My husband loves it
