ordered these a few years ago for a pond less water feature in my back yard. Hose from the pump vault to hose going up into the basalt column. My pump has been running for years, with no issues at this fitting, or the others for that matter. It fit the hose like a glove. No clamps needed. It was thick, heavy duty. And I am sure it will last for many more years with no problems.

Sturdy construction and fits into sized hose as expected. Only issue I have with these is (note in the picture for the product) it there are manufacturing designs which can cause some handling issue. Th exterior surface is not smoothed and the manufacturing points are sharp and pointy. Using barbed fittings required rotation and wiggling to fit th hose over the fittings. My hands are ripped up from installing 3 of these in a pond system. If the fittings had been polished or deburred it would have got 5 star rating.

exactly what I needed if you're taking it off or putting it on it's good to lube up to with some water or some spit so I can go over the ridges easier

Worked perfectly to fix my furnace condensate line.

Too big, hose won't fit. Even tried some grease inside the hose, just too tight. Had to sand the barbs down to make it fit. Shouldn't have to spend 45 minutes to make an elbow fit.
