Works just as described. Temp & humidity, plus alarms.

I used Smart Life app to run this. It turns on a wall plug at 34% humidity to fire up a humidifier, and turns it off at 38%. It sends signals almost instantly, unlike some that send a signal every hour.Minus one star because the humidity it shows is 7% higher when compared next to my calibrated hygrometer. So you have to compensate for that when setting it up.

We wanted a WiFi thermometer to keep track of our rv temperature to insure the pipes and tanks don’t freeze. These work of a usb brick . They replace battery powered units which worked well but the battery life was short. This is much more convenient. They are smaller than they look but are a great size for an tv.

Doesn't want to connect to our router. Tried several times automatically and then tried manually several times. Failed to connect. Sent it back.

I asked for and got one for Christmas. I set it up and it worked perfectly, including Alexa providing temperature or humidity when asked. I immediately ordered a second one. When I set it up it would only provide temperature via Alexa stating that humidity is not supported. I returned it and got another. I set it up and it responds with temperature, but says humidity is not supported yet. I'll keep the second one although it doesn't function as advertised, nor is it what I was expecting. My goal is to be able to ask Alexa for information at night with the lights out and hear the results.I am not sure why Amazon ships with a Lithium Ion label on the box. Clearly there is NO battery in this device. When unplugged, the display is off. When power is returned, it connects to the internet to get time and provide temperature information via Alexa, except the first one which also provides humidity information via Alexa.It should be noted that you must have the USB power adapter. It ships with the necessary USB cable, but not a power adapter. These are easily available on Amazon.

My lamp has a thermometer on it, and I don't think it reads right, it always seems warmer than what it says so I got this one and there is a 3-degree difference. It is the perfect size; it doesn't take up a lot of room on the stand and it has the time and date on it. I wanted something that I could see what the temperature was from work so I could turn the fan on if it was really hot and this is working so far. I haven't had any issues with it disconnecting or it not reading right. My only issue is that I have to keep it plugged into the wall, I thought it was battery powered.

It’s works great

Didn’t realize it had to be plugged in at all times to work. Super inconvenient. The cord is the normal short length, so you can’t move it very far from wherever your outlet is. As soon ans it’s unplugged it stops working, and then you have to go through the entire process to get it set up on your WiFi and on the app again. It’s a pain Also the screen isn’t back lit, so it’s really hard to read. I’m returning it. Not worth keeping. I can find something that actually works. Not worth the money.
