Ilford XP2 Super is my favorite black and white film.With a medium speed of ISO 400, you can use it for a variety of situations and the benefit of B&W film using color C41 processing, which should be a little cheaper for you to develop at your local film shop over traditional B&W film.It's cheap, easy to find, develops well, has great rendering and is cheap to develop. What is not to love!?At this point, I only use XP2 for black and white because of all of its strengths. The only weakness it has is that Ilford hasn't made an ISO 800 or higher version.
