can this battery be used in the Olympus Tough TG-3?

Yes, it works perfectly. I have the same camera (Red, Olympus TG-3) and used this as a backup battery during my travels to Cuba. The battery will last a day when taking approx. 300 photos a day and using the varous filters and scenes. It has the same efficiency and life as the original battery that comes with the camera, and can be charged using the battery charger that came with the camera.
