Is this the same size as matchbox/hotwheels cars or larger?

Disney Pixar Cars made by Mattel are 1/55 scale. Hotwheels are 1/64 scale. So, this car is slightly larger than a Hotwheels car.

Is this car compatible with the cars 3 ultimate Florida speedway

I have this car and the speedway. It doesn't work with the Flu speedway track. It's heavier than the other cars and doesn't make it all the way around. Other cars on the track smack into it around 2/3 of the track, where it stops. Even with new batteries and on the faster setting it won't make it back to the spinning mechanism.
