The Republic of TeaNatural Hibiscus SuperFlower Tea (36 Tea Bags)

I am a LONG time drinker of hibiscus tea. I literally have a cup every evening daily maybe for over 2 decades now. I’m very used to the tart sour taste of pure hibiscus and drink it pure mainly, but may occasionally sprinkle some cinnamon or cardamom in it. I ran out of my regular favorite brand of organic plain hibiscus tea and there was going to be a delay in shipment due it being out of stock, so I decided to give this brand a try. My fault for not reading the label, but this hibiscus is mixed with sweet blackberry leaf and stevia. Not that this is a bad thing, but it makes it sickeningly sweet for those of us who are used to a real hibiscus taste. Plus the blackberry leaf will dilute the strength of the hibiscus. I’m a big fan of hibiscus because it’s extremely healthy, and I don’t want to dilute it. I also generally don’t like sugary tasting drinks, teas, coffee, etc. - so this is tough for me to get used to. However, if you find it hard to drink hibiscus because of the tartness - then this tea is perfect for you because the hibiscus is very mild and it is of course sweetened (in a healthy way). I am giving it 5 stars because I feel this is a quality brand overall in its many interesting tea offerings and I have only myself to blame for not reading the label closely before I ordered.

Tastes amazing! I’ve been enjoying it iced this summer. No need for sugar as it has a “sweetness” of its own.

Very nice smooth taste. I very rarely buy tea, but this is exceptional.

I have to use two teabags to get the strength of tea that I want. Other than that it is the best hibiscus tea I’ve had.

Helps my blood pressure

I enjoy this Hibiscus tea so much! I add a teaspoon of honey. It's flavor reminds me of a cross between fruit punch and lemonade. Delicious hot or cold. Love the pretty can these teabags come in. Keeps them fresh and flavorful. This brand's tea (no matter which selection) is very authentic tasting. One thing I didn't expect was the added bonus of Hibiscus lowering my blood pressure! My last checkup had my Doc asking me what I was doing differently. I drink 3 cups a day and enjoy every drop. I can recommend this brand and will be happy to purchase again.
