Real MEK, not a substitute
REAL M.E.K., not a substitute. It is getting harder to find REAL MEK in stores, so I was thrilled to find and receive this.

Removed Silicone and Epoxy Residue from my Mosaic Waterline Tiles in the Pool.
Removed Silicone and Epoxy Residue from my Mosaic Waterline Tiles in the Pool. Wear gloves, glasses and mask, and work it over the tiles thoroughly and quickly as it evaporates within about 15 seconds, wash off with soapy sponge. Very happy with the results, but cannot over emphasize, safety, safety, safety.

A little bit pricey to reorder.
This is a much needed item. But price is way too high.I did some additional looking at local suppiers and found that I could get a gallon can for not much more. And, had I found it before ordering.....I would have a gallon can for use....

Great Chemical Supply
They shipped the product quick and secure.MEK will be used for making plastic model glue. Everything here no longer has this in it, so just add a bit to Mr Cement S, presto Mr Cement SP!I’ll be ordering the B Acetate next and basically have a lifetime supply.

Works as a thinner for contact cement, improves bonding of plastic parts!
Smells like acetone, but I don’t know what MEK should smell like. However, unlike Acetone, using this to thin the consistency of contact cement to glue PLA, makes the glued parts hold much, much stronger. Tester contact cement without thinning with MEK, could pull them apart 48 hours later. Parts glued by contact cement thinned with MEK, can’t pull apart without breaking the parts. So, it must be MEK, and it definitely works for thinning contact cement type glues, for plastic (PLA in my case).
