Lion Brand Yarn 640-123E Wool-Ease Thick & Quick Yarn, Oatmeal

I love this yarn. The yarn never split when I was crocheting a shirt. I love the colors of the yarn. It was easy to crochet with. I just want to crochet more things with it because of how soft and thick it is.

Wool ease thick and quick has ALWAYS been a SUPERIOR YARN, for quality durability and function! As an added plus, the range and selection of colors offered is varied and wide ranging! (Which is why, I return to it, time and again!).I prefer to work with chunky, or super chunky yarn. So the size, as well as, soft texture and rich colors, are precisely what I need.

I am in the process of crocheting a blanket for my boyfriend, as he is very tall and does not have one at the moment that fits his body. I ordered this yarn and was expecting it to take a week and a half to ship. It arrived before the due date, which was nice. The yarn itself is very soft and is easy to work with for such a large project. The colour was gorgeous, and remained consistent throughout the skeins (I've ordered this yarn multiple times for various projects I have worked on). I loved its consistency, and my boyfriend loved his blanket, which he's said that it was fairly easy to clean as well.

I love this wool ease thick and quick yarn! It's soft, durable and the metallic threads are so much fun! It knits up beautifully. Perfect for hats and scarves. Will purchase another colors. I hope my review helps you

I am so happy with this crochet yarn! The weight is perfect, the color is an absolute knockout, and the quality is exceptional. I've already made three hand-embroidered sweaters and a blanket with this same yarn and color, and I'm very happy with both the purchase and the price. Washes really well, I just like to hang dry best. Highly recommend!

I have always had relatively good experience knitting with this yarn, although I agree that the colors shown are occassionally not accurate and the thickness can very, but infrequently.My issue is with Amazon's choice of vendor. I ordered yarn for two separate projects on December 1st and it still hasn't shipped. Not holiday projects, but waiting 3 to 4 weeks seems excessive.I would prefer going to a local small business yarn shop and purchase really high quality yarn, but have 7 afghans to make for family and this yarn is more affordable and acceptable qualityI would suggest that when making blankets, hats or scarves, using a needle size 1 ot 2 sizes larger that called for in the pattern is best. The item comes out softer on larger needles or hooks.

I had never crocheted with a super bulky #6 yarn before but when I received this Wool Ease Thick and Quick I was impressed! The Bluegrass color is so beautiful and the yarn was wonderful to work with. I made a pretty hat and will be wearing this a lot come Fall and Winter. I'm definitely going to buy more!

Exactly as pictured- a cute rose colored yarn. Not too thick, but not thin either. I would say it is medium thickness. I used it to embroider a baby sweater, and it was very easy to work with.
