Nice set

I got this product for remodeling my room (specifically wallpapering) I had never wallpapered before and so getting something simple but with a lot of options was super important to me which is why this kit was the one I bought. I had to watch a couple videos to learn how to best use these items but it was super simple. I like how there are multiple smoothing products for the wall which helped for easier application and you can choose which works better for you (I preferred the red one). The precision knife tool was great for making small cuts and especially for cutting the wallpaper on the edges and the corners. The large red cutting tool was super cool and great for if you are pre-measuring/pre-cutting your wallpaper; I could definitely also see this specific tool being easily reused for cutting wrapping paper. Will definitely be keeping this and reusing it throughout the years when I need to wallpaper.

Ordered this kit to use when making vinyl stickers and such with my Cricut. I really like the exacto knife it comes with, kind of confusing to get the blade in at first but once you do it’s great! I also LOVE how many extra blades it comes with. My Cricut came with a smoothing tool, but i wanted to find some of different sizes & materials and the two spatulas in this kit work very well. I was thinking I’d be able to use the red cutter thing for cutting paper, vinyl, and cardstock, however, it can barely cut through a piece of copy paper without it bunching up and almost getting stuck. Maybe it’d cut thicker material better, have not tried it yet but the gap is pretty small so I’m not even sure thick material would fit. Might be user error or I got a defective one, either way, it’s going in the garbage bin! That and the fact that the tools came with no labels/instructions are my only critique for this product. Even if you just bought the kit for the exacto knife & replacement blades, that by itself is less than half the price of buying one on its own! Great value, good quality, and a nice assortment of tools. Highly recommend. This overall comes with a few really great tools for cricut/silhouette use and, especially for the price, would be a great addition to your tool collection. I am very satisfied with my purchase.

I’m pretty honest in my reviews and I’m also pretty easy to please. Now first off I have never in my life put up wallpaper and when I was a child people used to pay my mother to do it and I know it’s like an art. I am trying to do a wall in my dining room. These blades are horribly cheap with little to NO durability, and caused my high quality wall paper to rip once it was on the wall and I was trying to trim a piece on the bottom off over the molding. I cried! Literally. I’m still debating whether to keep going, since my house is filled with children and is not a museum by any means, or just rip it down and go with all paint. The orange thing that is supposed to cut paper easily also is horrible. However! The red smoother that helps flatten the paper and get the bubbles out is the reason why I am giving this 3 stars! That was very useful to me while hanging the paper.

This set allowed me to do the backdrop in my kitchen with movable wallpaper. The knives are useful and sharp (careful!) and the smoothing tools make putting it up easy. If you are going to do a project with contact paper or movable wallpaper, but this set. It’s a steal and without it, the job is much harder. The smoothing tool is worth the cost of the whole set.

It's really cheap, and it works like crazy. The felt-cushioned applicator makes it super easy to lay down a laminate without wrinkles or bubbles. Why struggle? Just get it.
