I ordered this to wear at my daughters wedding. Her theme is celestial. Galaxy. Planets and sparkly stars. But also formal. Not like a hippie wedding. More Big Bang. I'm very self conscious about gaining a lot of weight since I have seen a lot of the people who will be attending the wedding. I wanted something loose and flowy without looking like a moo-moo. My favorite color is purple but I opted for the dark blue batik. The color is exactly how it looks online. The fabric (Rayon) is soft yet substantial. Not like a cover up. Like a real garment. I ordered the 4X because I've ordered a few other things in what I though would be big enough for me but instead turned out to be too small. I can't describe how relieved I am to have something to wear that I will feel comfortable in. I am going to accessorize with some sparkly jewelry and a pair of Swarovski embellished flip flops. :) I will probably order another one in a different color, just because I love this so much. I think it will photograph well also. 5 Stars!!

I am back to buy another one. I had looked everywhere for a nice rayon, batik caftan to replace one that I bought years ago but after overuse during this corona season had to go. The fabric is perfect. Falls beautifully. The sides are stitched in my least favorite way for a caftan, with 2.5 inches of extra fabric on the outside of the seam but because the fabric falls so nicely it doesn't make my hips look larger than they are so I can live with it. I am short (5'3") and the caftan fringe drags the ground but I will eventually have it hemmed so that is not a problem. The sizing was perfect for me otherwise. This is a high quality garment for the price. Perfect for those corona days when you want to look good but are going nowhere...UPDATE: I tried an experiment and washed the caftan in cold water but dried it with low heat in the dryer. Yes, I knew it would shrink up but I had plenty of room width-wise and I wanted to see if it would shrink length-wise...enough so I could keep the fringe and not hem it up. It did! Still fits and now it is not too long.

I ordered two of this pattern and one more of the ethic ones. They are soft and comfortable and the fabric is very good quality and not the see through thin variety you see often in caftans. All good. The color on this as of June 2020 is nothing at all like the color pictured. MY caftan is a somber dusky green with no vibrancy like the photo. Still a very usable item, just not "as pictured".When I tried this on out of the package it didn't seem roomy enough and wasn't as long as I expected, not quite touching the ground (I am about 5 feet 1 these days). BUT very oddly, when I washed this and the other in cold water in the machine and then hung to dry on a hanger , not only did the caftans get longer (I am guessing from the wet weight and hanging) they seem to also get bigger. This is a puzzle, but passing along the info in case it helps someone decide.They look like they will last a long time. The neck hole is generous. I would like it a big deeper but that is a personal choice. It works fine for company, lounging and sleeping.

Gorgeous caftan! I got the light turquoise in XL, as I wear a US 16-18, and the fit is spot on. Yes, caftans are relatively shapeless, so they tend to "look" a bit large but that's the style. The arm holes are sewn to just the right spot so that it gives room to move without showing undergarments. The fabric is perfectly light and airy for the Southern heat, but not see through, so a slip is not needed. I also love most garments made in this fabric because it doesn't really hold on to pet hair, and I don't end up covered in it after giving the fur babies a cuddle. I'm 5'5" and the length is perfect. A bit below the knees, and the tassels don't drag on the floor. The item was wrapped well so it didn't arrive completely wrinkled, and there were no bad smells, which can be an issue sometimes if you've ever bought clothing from Amazon. The cost, while a bit more expensive than other sellers, I think is justified due to the quality of the garment. Hand wash and hang dry only! If you aren't able to care for this as suggested the tassels and bottom of the dress will most likely have issues. I'd like to get a few more in different colors.

Super 'flowy' and colorful with it's tie dye batik design. I love this kaftan!! I bought two with different designs. Because I'm a large woman with a goddess body I took out the (generous) seams about and inch and a half and it feels even more delicious to wear. Its rayon and it's surprisingly cool in hot weather and even lovely enough to wear out to dinner, dressing it up with flashy sandals, large jewelry, and arm bracelets. Gorgeous,I will probably purchase more as the summer progresses.

Love this look. Very comfortable. I immediately bought another one in blue so I have two to wear. The tie-dye is very nicely done and does not bleed or fade if you follow their garment care instructions. It is long but I like them long. I am 5'5" and it does not drag the floor. The fringe on the bottom is the perfect trim for this kaftan and large summer jewelry looks great with them.

I'm quite impressed with this kaftan, I just wish it fit a bit better.. It's well made and the quality of the fabric is quite good. Be aware however, that it is truly a maxi length. I'm 5'3" and the tips on the ends drag on the floor so I had to cut the tassels off. It's also a bit big for a 3X.

The media could not be loaded.  So I was under the impression this was a regular rectangle-like dress, with arm holes. It kind of is but it is sewn more form fitting with the extra fabric edges past the armholes and to the bottom kind of hanging. I think this is actually more flattering than it would be if the edges were sewn at the end of the fabric.I added pictures and a little video to show what I'm rambling on about.That said... I love the dress!

I loved the look of this in the picture. And, to be fair, the colour is everything the picture promised. But I was disappointed nonetheless. Have purchased a completely different caftan from this same seller and was very pleased as it was clearly made well with good material. But this one was a very thin fabric compared to the other. And the real problem for me is the length. It isn't nearly as long as any other caftan I've ordered (and I've ordered a lot of them). The bottom of the fringe ends in the middle of the calf of the leg. I suppose I don't really need it to be all the way to the floor. But it does sort of ruin the look of the garment on. Will do for when I'm lounging around at home alone. But I will change into something else if company should come a calling.

I love it. The colour is beautiful and the tie dye print looks exactly like the picture. The weight of the fabric is perfect, flowy but not flimsy. I am 240 lbs and it fits nice and loosely as it should. I am 5'3" and it falls to the top of my feet. Anyone shorter might need to have it hemmed but then you'd lose the fringe. I will live in it this summer.

The picture and the garment didn't look the same. I don't like the tassels at the bottom, cheapens the garment even more so. The material was too heavy for wearing at the beach or pools side

This is my 6th order of this style - like it very much but 3 times including this last one , are not true to the colours you show on the website - the red I received today looks more like a faded out coral colour not the vibrant red that your website showed - suggest you review your stock against the colours you are promoting.

Love the colour and fit. I especially like the material. It’s long enough for me though I’m just 5’2”
