If you have not used these before and think this is going to be like the Wal-Mart microfiber cloths, they are not. These things are incredibly thin - like a silk scarf. They will pick up loose dust and lint when dry, but as others observed, they are not great at this. I found that they work best when wet cleaning - they are incredibly gentle and will hold on to stray lint and particulates which have been dislodged by use of a cleaning solution. Also if you are a zeiss wipe addict, a couple drops of high purity IPA or proper len cleaning solution, and these work great for less critical tasks like eyeglass cleaning - or cleaning plastic surfaces. Anyway, very happy with them. They are not a replacement for cleaning papers / cellulose pads, etc which serve a different purpose. You may want to get both.
