Only useful for beginners
This book has 281 pages but the essence is very simple: the equity markets are efficient and it does not make sense to pay the fees for active portfolio management. This is hardly revolutionary and only absolute novices are not aware of this argument. The book barely mentions other asset classes and the only chapter on bonds says (quite accurately) that at today's levels the risks are much higher than the potential returns. I would recommend this book only if you haven't read any other investment books before.

Basic
This is not for professional investors. Doesn’t say anything new. The main conclusion is that market is efficient and better invest in index funds. Lots of evidence of the contrary. Even the points around psychology are taken from Kaneman and Thaler. Don’t recommend it.
