Amazon Basics 4-Pack 2CR5 Lithium High-Capacity Photo Batteries, 6 Volt, Replaces 223A, EL223AP, and DL223A Battery, 10-Year Shelf Life

The original was an American Standard Labeled battery for our photo sensor activated office sink. I couldn’t stomach the price for the OEM in comparison to the Amazon generic which was closer in price to the same American Standard one I bought 3 years ago. A 400% mark up in just 3 years is absurd. The Amazon generic equivalent worked immediately . The longevity of the battery is unclear.

We had a plumbing company come out and tell us it was going to be 498 dollars per faucet, and 498 dollars per flushometer to replace the batteries. (We have two faucets, and two toilets, you do the math....)Got this 4 pack of the necessary batteries on sale and replaced them in house. For far far less than what the plumbing company wanted. Saved approx. 1,976 dollars buying these batteries and replacing them, instead of having them replaced by the plumbing company!

The battery wouldn’t be expired for another couple years. The charge lasted about half a day. I shouldn’t have to take the battery out of my camera just because I’m not going to shoot for a few hours. My camera rewinds the film all the way when it has lost power for a bit of time.

CR-P2を使うフィルムカメラはまだ現役で使えるのですが、電池の入手性が悪いのでお蔵入りになりがちです。現状では日本のAmazonでは販売されていないようですが、フィルムカメラを使いたい人にとっては必須とも言える電池なので販売して欲しいところです。電池としての性能は問題なく、どのくらいもつのかはこれからの使用で分かることと思います。正直なところ、デジタル一眼レフでもこのタイプの電池が使えればと思うことがあるくらいです。

玄関の電子ロックに。電池切れ直前アラートが鳴ってから店舗で探してたら電池交換用の残流も無くなって交換もできなくなるので一つはストックしておきたい電池です。
