I wasn’t sure if this would work or not so I tracked my sugar and at the start I was 116 fasting and 329 after breakfast. After taking the berberine I am 116 fasting and 158 after breakfast. I still take my metformin daily but now I add the berberine. I guess at my next doctor’s appointment I’ll see what my A1C is.

Update! These are amazing, I’ve also noticed they help put me into ketosis much more easily if I watch what I eat! After one day of not eat carbs or sugar I was in Ketosis, normally this would not happen so quickly and would be hard to do and take about a week to get into that state plus I was in a heavy ketogenic state after a day taking these pills! This would normally be very difficult for me to get into but these magic pills are the missing link for me. I’ve already lost weight or will maintain weight eating some carbs and eating sugar in normal amounts! I’m very pleasantly surprised.Normally I would pass out, meaning I couldn’t keep my eyes open after I would eat something with sugar or a few slices of pizza or a bagel. Took two of these before eating and I’m fine, didn’t feel like I was going to pass out and need to sleep it off. So, yeah it works! Very pleased at the moment!

The other brands that I first tried seemed to work better. They were more expensive though. Its not that you get what you pay for, it is that you do not get anymore than what you pay for. The Force Factor berberine cost is 4X as much as this brand but they worked better for me.

I like using berberine for blood glucose control. I've been using it now for about 2 or 3 years. I understand it's a natural alternative to metformin.

It's only been about a week and I'm taking only 1 at breakfast just to see if any issues but it seems to work. Hoping it's not just placebo effect as I've tried so many supplements with no. Effect.
