Está instalado a la entrada de la toma de agua, estos imanes se repelen, también compre los amarillos y esos no se repelen(los abrí y voltee) y así ya se repelen, ya no veo tanto sarro en mis regaderas y llaves y las marcas de gotas de agua ya no se quedan en los trastes, para mi, si funcionan.

I purchase 2 of this items (main water coming to our house and hot water coming out of our heater), we tested for a few weeks and we see an immediate reaction to our bathrooms.I recommend to anyone who have the same water stain issues at home.

I have a small water system and all but one sink get use every day, point being the water moves through the system within 24 hours. I mention this because some say the effect only lasts for a period of time, like 2 days (not sure the length of time). I have one on the cold right after the pressure tank and one after the hot water heater. The bathroom sink faucet no longer gets mineral build up. The shower is easier to clean and I was able to, after some months, remove about 85% of the mineral buildup. For me and my needs this is way better than a salt based setup, low cost, effective and needs zero attention. If I had a large house, long water runs etc and I wanted to use these I reckon I put in some at the source and more farther out to refresh the ionization.

This item is super easy to install. I will update it after I see if it works. I cleaned all my faucets and everywhere I could see lime and calcium deposits so I can determine if it works. I live in an area with really hard water and am constantly soaking faucets in vinegar to keep the water flowing. I wanted to try this before I tried something more costly.
