Worth it 9.5gm 15 bolt sf
Works perfectly in my gm 9.5in 14 bolt semi float axle for my 93 blazer. Read the instructions i installed it the hard way with the springs and pins installed when putting it into the carrier instead of slipping them in thru the side as it was designed. I got it for 367$ which beats summits price by about 300$ engages smoothly under load when I want it to but it is rough on the locking and unlocking when idling in gear thru parking lots but I think its only because its a manual. Seems pretty stout and fit with the original thrust washer shims that it came with and the cross pin fit better then the original. We'll worth the money. I might even consider one for my c1500 with the same axle for a street truck as the street manners is better than expected unless you're hot rodding it thru the turns then it'll chirp the inner tire or break both tires lose

Only up to 92 model!
Probably a good item but this model seems to only fit up to 92 Jeep per the label (and the fact the coupler didn't fit my 99). Of course i didn't realize this until I had it all apart!

Locked and loaded
This went in just fine according to the instructions. The most difficult part is getting the last c-clip in place but overall it's not terrible. I'd rate this as a 4/10 difficulty, with the majority of any difficulty coming from the overall effort of lifting the vehicle, removing wheels, removing gaskets, etc. Nothing terrible, just somewhat time consuming. In operation it works extremely well. Under power your rear wheels are locked, so be careful on corners and on wet streets. You have to drive a bit carefully in the corners once installed. This will cause your rear end to fight you a little bit, so if you're putting this in a rig intended primarily for road use then you're probably better served to go after a detroit locker. In operation, the only time I've been able to hear it click audible is when driving through a parking deck. It's hardly noticible. And offroad it's killer. It keeps power turning to both wheels and you can crawl up stuff easily where you'd normally spin a wheel (assuming tires aren't your limiting factor). Not sure why these are referred to as "lunchbox" lockers. I know the general description means that you can install one over your lunch break...yeah right. Or perhaps I get too short of a lunch break, but this took me 3-4 hours on a Saturday. Not working exceptionally fast, but being careful and methodical.

Works fantastic
Pros -it works great off road and in the snow, totally locks the diff up, easy to install. IMPORTANT axle end play specs, set them right!! Wife drives the vehicle and doesn’t notices it. on road works well also. Cons - install manual sucks, clunky at times, hard on tires. It is easy to install. Unfortunately in the Chrysler 9 1/4 diff I installed this on came with Posi case. And the original part I ordered was the one for the Posi case. I didn’t fit, called tech support to verify I had the right part, they were quick to help. Unfortunately I had to order this locker along with new open case $135 new spider gear set $70 “just for the shims” the backlash adjustment tool $25 bearing set $100, fee to get the bearing pressed on $40, and backlash gauge for $30. I installed this on a 1999 Durango 4wd. The installed required a lot more work also had to weld the abs/speed tone ring to the case because when installing the original ring gear to the new open case. The tone ring had enough clearance to spin free. Time consuming and annoy. But the locker works fantastic. On road it’s mildly noticeable clicking around turns and clunky at times. But overall not a big deal, my wife drives the Durango often and has never complained about it. Video upload was with vehicle in 2wd.

Broken teeth
Well, this lasted almost a year. I noticed the other day, going uphill on our gravel drive, only one tire was spinning. Take the cover off the old girl to find some teeth missing where the 2 meet. (See pic) contacted the manufacturer earlier. Will see what they will do, but so far…not very impressed. Edit: Upon further investigation, this is actually a powertrax lock right unit for a 1997 F350, with the sterling 10.25" ring gear. The lock I purchased for the front dana 60 was this one....and it works no problem!! Highly recommend this locker...but, the powertrax unit is junk.

Easy to install and worked
For less than $350 I just got my truck to drive across a 3' deep ditch without the slightest bit of hesitation. For half the price of a Detroit Locker I'd say it's worth every penny, especially after owning a couple of Detroit Lockers in the past and breaking both of them in less than 50,000 miles. It's actually quite easy to install and all you have to do is pull the passenger side axle shaft out to change it instead of both sides, no resetting backlash or bearing preloads or any of that extra stuff that extra lockers require. A guy with down syndrome and a 30 pack could easily get this installed in an afternoon. Don't forget to transfer the old thrust washers over from the spider gears, I have seen guys that forgot about those and ended up breaking the carrier later on. And by the way, this does fit the Dodge Ram 1500's up to 2010 with the 9.25 rear end. I just got done installing one in a 2007 model that broke the spider gears. There were no problems with the Lock Right that I received
