Bulova C4821 Oversize Gabriel Wall Clock, Rustic Brown

Nice clock. The quality is good and the assembly was easy. After I hung the clock up I realized that the time was very hard to see because the hands blended in with the frame and numbers on the clock face. That was a disappointment. So….. I removed the hub of the clock (easily done), removed the battery, masked off everything but the hands, bought a can of off white spray paint matching the Bulova name on the hub and painted the hands. It looks nice and now I can easily see the time from any angle.

We hung this ginormous clock in our dining room which has a 12 ft ceiling, and wall space intentionally saved just for this. It's pretty heavy, so needed a picture hanger that could support the weight. Easy to assemble the 4 large pieces, although it was difficult to jam a couple of them really close together so there is a bit of a gap between two of the parts, but when hanging it is not even noticeable since the entire frame is the same color. It also came with felt pads to place over where bolts go, so there is no risk of scraping the wall. Worth the money and 5 stars. Would highly recommend if you like big clocks.

I was searching for 2 months, fixated on getting the biggest wall clock " In the World" for this space. It having the Bulova brand on it a bonus as opposed to other large wall clocks I vetted. I'm not one impressed by brands but Bulova time pieces do give me goosebumps. When I found this clock, I felt like I had found the Holy Grail!The assembly was very easy, it's still made in China but isn't everything? But for a Chinese made product, someone from Bulova must of been on top of QT. My bubble burst when it was discovered that the mechanical piece ( the part that runs the hands and keeps time) was not functioning.My other and I hung it anyway since we love it so much with the thought that 5 :20 is a good time anytime! I have not had time to contact Bulova to replace that part, it's on the list. Buy it anyway. It's an awesome statement that will "make" a room.Giving it 4 stars only because of it not keeping time.

The design & appearance of the clock are just what we paid for, but it proved to be a poor choice on several levels. First, it is difficult to read because the hands and frame are all one color: black! Secondly, from the beginning we hung our clock and only adjusted the time twice a year, when the time changed in the fall and then again in the spring. However, in year two we had to continually adjust the time and replace batteries in an effort to keep the clock working and eventually nothing could be changed to make the clock usable. It looks nice and is now correct twice a day! The hands are very flimsy, bend easily and can lock up as they pass one another. If installed and not moved, the clock will get through the first year. In the second year you will learn that there is no coverage and there are no replacement parts available!

This clock would be great if the hands were wider than the cross in the middle of the frame. Several times a day, you cannot read the time as the hands blend in with the cross supports. When we assembled the clock and prepared to hang it, the time piece fell out as it just gingerly sits in. It shattered and we had to spend another $130 to have it repaired before we could hang it. By the way, it’s 9:00. So every quarter hour at the 12:00, 3:00, 6:00 an 9:00 hours, it is hard to read. Other than that, it’s a pretty clock and less expensive (if you don’t count the added repair) than others I looked at.

Beautiful clock! It really makes a statement. Most reviewers say it was easy to put together. It really is not complicated, but unfortunately the one I received was out of line and I needed a rubber mallet to make it fit together. I should have returned it for another, but didn’t want to deal with the hassle and also I wanted it on my wall NOW. After some work dealing with stiff, unyielding iron, we got the pieces together. I love it! FYI, I would say it is black, not rustic brown.

This clock is exactly what I was looking for! The 48 inch size, it was easy too put together, and now it don't not hurt my eyes when I look at the clock, last but not least the price was amazing!!

The clock is beautifulIt does not work. Clock face is not strongly supported and clock hands don’t move

I have had it for less than 3 months and it stopped working. I have had to take it to a clock shop to see if they can figure out why it won't keep time.
