BEST NAILFILE EVER--forget the cheesy ones in drugstores--worth paying more and waiting for
Bought my first one 7 years ago and it still works perfectly. Have nickel-and-dimed my way through several brands of metal ones from drugstores and either they did almost nothing, or failed after a few months. Traditional emery boards, regardless of brand, are worthless after a few uses. THIS one seems to last forever. Well worth waiting for the ship from U.K. Don't be dissuaded by the price---its worth 100 of the cheap metal ones locally available. The side that says 'fein' is fine, and the non-labeled side of the handle is rough. Never knew I could be so thrilled by a nail file.

This file is truly the Pfeilring "Professional" model as described/shown in photo.
I had previously ordered one from different seller and what I received was instead was one of Pfeilring's lower line of files. It had the same photo & description but it WAS NOT the Professional model.**THIS SELLER's PRODUCT WAS THE REAL DEAL, DELIVERED AS ADVERTIZED. SA

Excellent quality for thicker nails.
It always annoys me when I order a product and the photo does not match the product delivered. The file that arrived said "New" on the packaging, so please update the photo. I ordered this file because of the grip on the handle and the narrow tip shown in the photo. The new file has a different handle and the file blade and tip are much wider. The file is of good quality and I compared it to a new Revlon similar file that I have used for years. This file is thicker metal and the rough side is rougher and the fine side is finer than the Revlon file. For my thick nails, it is good and it will get used. If you don't have thick nails, the price for this file is not worth it. It would be helpful for all metal files to have a maker's icon embedded on the tip for the rough side, as both sides are so similar to the eye. I will be adding a drop of nail polish to the tip of the rough side.

Forget Diamond!
I was going to get a diamond file but I read all the bad reviews they got because 'most' are now made in China. This file is made in Germany and that usually means quality. I don't think my nails can differentiate between diamonds and sapphire? Neither will you...this unit cuts with rapidity...and that's what it's all about, in my usage. Then I fine tune with the less rough side. Much cheaper, in cost, than diamond. I should enjoy this file for decades.

Very good medium and coarse file
This is a very good nail file. It has held up well with use, at least as well as the good old Revlon files from the 90's (no longer available.)For my purposes as a fingerstyle guitarist, I have no use for the rough side, and would like an even finer side. The rough side would probably work great at grinding down acrylic nails.

Disappointed
Quite fragile, small and plastic seems ready to break. Disappointed.

Excellent buy
An oldie but a masterpiece. If you have not seen it, you should and after you do watch it you will want to order it as well!

Not what is pictured
I have used these nail files for years, and they last years. I love them. But the one I received this time is not what is pictured. It was like the dollar store version. It did not have a rough side, both sides were so fine it took forever to file and I had to push to have it file and it cut my finger like an emory board. Just horrible.. I sent it back.... buyer beware, not as advertised.
