LiTime 12V 20A Lithium Battery Charger, 14.6V Output AC-DC, 0V Activation

So far so good. Appears high quality. Fast charge on my 12V 100AH Lithium Dyness Battery. I like the connection options but the indicator LEDs are a bit simple.

The fan is not quiet but not obnoxious. It charges a 100amp/hr battery at an expected rate. The 50 amp power poles are nice. I wired a set to the battery and connects/disconnects with a hearty “click”. I have recharged my 100amp/hr about 10 times and everything is working as it should.

I had forgotten to turn off my RV battery kill switch and left my 12vdc mini fridge running overnight. I have two GRNOE 100Ah, 12vdc lithium batteries that drained down to 9.27vdc!. I was worried that I ruined two brand new batteries. However, fortunately the batteries have a built in BMS (battery management system) which protects against both low voltage and over charging damage. At first I thought I could just plug my RV in to electric power and charge the batteries but I learned that would not work because of the BMS shut down. I needed something to “wake up” the BMS and the best way is to use a lithium battery charger. I chose the LiTime 12V, 20A lithium battery charger because it matches my battery manufacturer’s specified charging voltage and current exactly. This unit proved its worth. I reconnected my batteries, tested my RV mini fridge and everything started working again- what a relief!. There are other premium lithium chargers available but this one was all that I needed. Yeah, the fan is a little noisy but its a tiny fan that needs to keep the unit cool. Just be sure to follow the directions exactly and you should be fine. It worked for me, cheers!

This charger works perfectly. One-hundred per-cent charged in record time. Unfortunately, Amazon delivery is not consistent with respect to delivery time. Would rather see more conservative delivery commitments.

I purchased the charger to re-charge my LiFePO4 12V 100 AHr battery. The charger uses a 14.6V output to charge the battery. This is a great, relatively fast way to charge LiFePO4 batteries (which charge using different charging profiles than lead-acid batteries). But it couldn't charge my battery. This was no fault at all with the charger! It was the BMS (battery management system) on my battery that blocked a 14.6V input. The BMS actually enforced an over-charging limit of 14.4V to prevent damaging the cells (their literature said a 14.8V limit). The BMS over-voltage production value could not be changed. The LiTime charger itself was well constructed with a heavy wall cord and came with battery charging cables. All the specs were aligned with those needed by LiFePO batteries. The maximum charging voltage of the charger 14.6V could not be lowered or modified. Upon contacting the tech people at LiTime (then it was AmpereTime), they responded quickly and thoroughly (especially Nikki) with technical guidance and things to do, and ultimately to facilitate the return of the charger. From their perspective, 14.6V is a widely adopted maximum and working with all of their batteries. Unfortunately, the BMS on my battery was more conservative in choosing a number that was lower (the battery company said they were adjusting that value in future batteries). LiTime sent me a return authorization (pre-paid) and offered me a discount on a future purchase for the inconvenience that wasn't their fault. So my support communication was excellent. This was quality performance on their part. In the meantime, I found a charger that was more adaptable and offered bluetooth software connection to my iPhone that allowed for adjustment of the charging parameters (at a much higher price than the LiTime charger).

It charged my brand new LiTime 12 volt 320 Amp hour Lifepo4 battery in about 8 hours, nice and slow. A 60 amp charger would have been faster, but I preferred nice and slow.
